It’s s’mores in a cup. This is quite delicious. I didn’t find this tea to be too sweet or too spicy. I definitely wouldn’t add any extra sugar, but a splash of milk or cream doesn’t do any harm.

DAVIDsTEA has been on a “matcha boosted” tea kick lately, and I’m down to the last one or two cups of this tea in my cupboard. So, I tried dusting a teaspoon of my own matcha on top of the oolong tea leaves before filling up my Perfect Steeper with hot water. Not bad!

This tea is much more spicy than what I was expecting from a Chai beverage, but then again, I only started drinking Chai beverages in the last year…and my introduction to Chai beverages was Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Latte…

I drank my first cup with just a splash of cream, and my second cup with some cream and sugar. I think I will try making a tea latte next. Whenever I take a sip, the initial taste isn’t bad, but the spices really make themselves known once I swallow.

I am addicted to this stuff. Steep, add milk, add sugar (I chose to dissolve some white sugar in hot water first, instead of adding white sugar or rock sugar directly to the tea), and enjoy. I’m saving so much money making this tea at home and not going out to buy bubble tea.

I taste some mint, and I taste some chocolate. But both flavours seem rather weak to me. The colour of the tea when I steeped it was very pale and greasy and off-putting too. I only had a 5g free sample to try, and I don’t think that I will be buying any of this tea in the future.

I like this tea, but I don’t taste any chocolate whatsoever. It’s just a nice cup of Earl Grey to me.

Bio

You’re most likely to find: Black/Green/Oolong Teas. Caramel. Chocolate. Cream.

I am also tempted by: Flowers. Comparisons to alcohol. Berries.

Despite the above, I generally dislike herbal teas and fruit infusions.

Coffee flavours do not belong in tea. If I want coffee, I will go to Starbucks.
