Shoot. This was a disappointment. Tastes like something has gone bad in it or something. Probably a good thing since I wouldn’t be able to order it if I liked it.

Thanks for letting me try it AlphaKitty!

My second Della Terra! Thank you JennyFur for this tea!

Baby, It’s Cold Outside! There is so much snow! I took my dog on a walk and came in craving a black tea. This one seemed good because I wanted something sort of sweet (in order to make up for the lack of Hot Cocoa) Well, time to brew this up.

I steeped 2 teaspoons per 16 oz at 212 for about 4 minutes.

First sip:
Yum! This brewed a light amber color. The leaves expanded so well with this one. Now, this tea is not overpowering with the sweetness. It is light and delicate but allows enough sweetness to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Finishing off the cup:
I think I need to brew these teas with more than 1 teaspoon per cup. However, I am happy that I am able to have a tea that I can brew really “light” without tasting watered down, I loved the flavors and how they all fit so well.

Overall, I really adore this tea. Della Terra has really impressed me with these two teas. I like the Pineapple Upside Down Cake a bit better, but this one rocks nonetheless. Great tea!

P.S. :D While writing this my mom just told me that my school called and canceled school for tomorrow! Thank you Chicago weather!

I’ve had 3 cups of tea today and only 1 was caffeinated…whoaaa I need a dose!! So I brewed up this sparkly little treat and even though my headache hasn’t subsided, my intense negativity has lessened :p Like everyone else, I’m addicted to this tea. I’m lately loving teas with an AROMA…a whole feeling not just a taste. This is fun and sweet but not sickeningly sweet, and for some reason I’m getting a touch of a coconut smell to it.

If there were a petition to keep this year round, I’d sign it and have my friends who don’t even drink tea sign it too. But I did comment on their facebook page in hopes that the elves will work off season to keep this coming in laaaarge doses.

This tea smells really like marshmallows. And caramel, but the marshmallow is more prominent. It tastes like dessert in a mug.

It was really good with 52 Teas’ pumpkin pie.

Alright, this is my last try with Eight Candles. I steeped 2 teaspoons in boiling water for almost three minutes (about 2:50) in my 12 oz. cup, and I’m still not impressed with this one. Sure, it’s a little marshmallowy (not really much caramel to speak of), but the tea itself is kind of bitter no matter what I seem to do. Perhaps I got a bad batch? Anyway, I’m really not thrilled with this, since through my tastings all I’ve gotten was bitter black…I like black tea, I really do, but it sure doesn’t need to taste like this. Disappointing.

I think this is going to the swap pile. I overleafed it nearly double this time around, and still I’m getting zero caramel out of it. There’s definitely toasted marshmallow, and the base is strong but not bad, but aside from that there’s really nothing that stands out to me in the cup. Oh well, not for me!

Veronica

I have overleaf and add sugar and milk to really get the caramel flavor to show. It used to be one of my favorite teas, but now it’s just… meh.

This tastes very similar to their S’mores flavor but with caramel undertones. It’s another very light but creamy tea which is good but too delicate for my taste buds to appreciate.

Finished up the last of this tea leaf today. Bit disappointed, really. Had higher hopes for this one based on its description, and I don’t plan on reordering.
