This stuff is really good. The best Mate I have tired from DT as of yet. It dosnt have quite the kick as the BUZZ – which I hate, but it is nice to get a little wake up. Still nothing like coffee.

I like mixing this one with Pink Lemonade.

I have no idea why, but something about this tea made it taste like liquid marijuana to me.. so odd. I enjoyed the tartness. Better iced than hot.

So instead of a black tea to start my morning after coffee, I tried David’s Electric Lemonade from their summer collection. I really like the taste of it! It reminds me of the firecracker or rocket popsicles I had as a kid – you know, the red, white and blue ones with the cherry, lemon and blue raspberry flavours? There’s a great sweet and tart mingling in it. I can imagine this being quite lovely as an iced tea, I’ll have to try it that way also. But it’s very satisfying hot. And surprisingly, not too overwhelming first thing in the morning.

This tea is delicious!

Honestly, this is the perfect iced tea. The combination of the berries and lemon is just wonderful! There is a perfect amount of tartness without it being too much. The colour of this is beautiful too! The caffeine in this IS electrifying! I don’t normally find myself affected by caffeine, however this tea gets me buzzing (though I would still purchase it if it was caffeine free for flavour alone)! Sometimes I add sweetner, and sometimes I don’t; it is great either way.

Though I have only had it iced, I am curious as to how it will taste hot. A friend of mine told me it is good, so I’ll have to try it. This is by far one of my favorite iced teas. My top three iced from David’s Tea would have to be Berry Refreshing, Electric Lemonade, and Magic Dragon.

I only purchased 50g of this, but I will DEFINITELY be returning to purchase MUCH more of this. It is absolutely amazing!

This isn’t a bad fruity maté blend, but it’s definitely not one of my favorites. I was hoping for more berry and less lemon. I don’t know that I’ll purchase it again, but if I do I’ll also add some unsweetened dried raspberries to the tea as it steeps to ramp up the berry flavor.

I’m sipping on a large-ish tumbler of this, iced, as I review. I was in one of the Victoria BC DAVIDs this past weekend and stocked up while I was within reasonable distance of a store… The closest stores to me are around 500 miles away. ((Sob)) Upon smelling the dry leaf I promptly asked for 50g of this maté as I’ve been in dire need of some new ones.

Dry leaf: lemon zest, lemon juice, sour berries, maté leaf
Liquor: lemons, bright berry, weed (for real)
Tasting notes: (iced) berries, Meyer lemon, blackberry leaf, fresh blueberry

Oooooh, this one. I am loving this iced! I was worried that if would be too tart but it definitely isn’t. I actually appreciate that this doesn’t taste exactly like lemonade… But rather a greener, fresher, more berry infused lemon concoction. (Since you know, that’s what is is…) I was also pleased to NOT taste the smell of weed that I briefly, yet unmistakably detected when this was steeping. Phew. This is really refreshing and the flavor profile happily does not echo any teas I currently have in my cupboard, nor that I have previously tried. Yay for discovering new teas that are GOOD! I see this being a moderator between me and this annoyingly hot summer weather that I am 100% done with at the moment. Thank god.

I picked this one up about a month ago on a tea buying binge. The CSR said that it was one of their best selling teas at the moment. How could I say no?

It does make a really nice summer iced tea. It’s a smooth lemony taste. They some how avoided it tasting like the scent of lemon dish soap which I find is a problem with many other lemon teas.

While it’s pleasant, and I’ll finish it – I won’t bother buying more. I bet some sugar would make it really good, but I try not to add sugar to my teas.

Great tea! When prepared hot it tastes a little funny but cold it’s amazing, citrusy and refreshing. It certainly gives you a boost.
