106 Tasting Notes
I really enjoyed this one although I spilt over half of it and broke my mug! Thankfully Davids replaced it for me! Tastes exactly like fresh blueberries. I added a little milk and sugar, which really helped the blueberry pop and gave it a nice creaminess.
Flavors: Blueberry, Creamy
Preparation
I got this in one of my advent calendars. I will give it a thumbs up for really tasting like a carrot cupcake! However, my dislikes of this one is the pungent ginger that steps in. Also I believe the licorice root is giving it almost a medicinal taste (reminds me of Organic Throat Rescue). I finished the cup but I don’t think I’ll be purchasing more.
Flavors: Apple, Carrot, Cinnamon, Ginger, Licorice
Preparation
I didn’t think I’d enjoy this one, but it’s really nice… sweet and fruity, and creamy. I taste the apple and blackberry leaves which gives it the fruity note. And it’s got to be the marigolds or something that’s also giving a floral note. It’s very refreshing to drink. This one might be worth it to purchase 50gs.
Flavors: Apple, Black Currant, Blackberry, Creamy
Preparation
In my mind, this tea sounded delicious, but I was disappointed by it. I got it in one of my advent calendars… I’m trying to try all the new ones that I’ve never tried because I want to put in an order here before the end of January and use my coupons. I found it plain but sweet. I didn’t taste the cotton candy. At least I can say I tried it!
Flavors: Rooibos, Sugar, Sweet
Preparation
I found this one to just be okay. For a green tea it’s alright and fruity. I still am a bigger fan of David’s Sweet Almond Green. Green teas aren’t my favourite, so I am a little biased towards green teas!
Flavors: Berry, Black Currant, Goji, Green
Preparation
I really thought I would like this one because of the coffee and the cacao, but I didn’t find either to be too present. I did add a little milk and sugar… maybe next time I’ll try it without anything first. I think I also need to steep longer… although I steeped for about 15 minutes. Right now my score will be low, as I found my first cup to be quite flavourless…I’ve got 45 g left of this tea so I’ll keep everyone updated!
Flavors: Bitter, Earth
Preparation
For a cleansing tea this one is surprisingly good! There is a very sharp lemon flavor either coming from the lemons themselves or the lemon peels. I really do enjoy it, and the added benefits of the ingredients helps!
Flavors: Lemon, Lemon Zest
Preparation
I absolutely love this one. The smell on it’s own is intoxicating enough. Smells exactly like a fresh raspberry bush. It’s tart and fruity, but somehow the yogurt pieces are giving it a nice creaminess. Can’t wait to try this cold.
Flavors: Apple, Black Currant, Raspberry, Yogurt
Preparation
I didn’t find this one to be peanut buttery at all. In fact I found it kind of flavourless. I got it in David’s tops of 2018, I don’t think I’ll be buying it again. I steeped for about 20 minutes too and still not getting much. It is light tho and almost fruity. Once it cooled tho, the almonds do give sort of a peanut butter taste. Up from 70 to 75 for the score.
Flavors: Almond, Butter, Fruity
Preparation
Drinking this tea hot, it tends to be a light flavor of coconut. Once it started to cool, wow did all the flavors really pop!
I love coconut, so I really enjoyed this one. The only negative I’ve got about this tea is that once brewed it is quite oily.
Flavors: Butter, Coconut, Creamy, Toasted, White Chocolate
