106 Tasting Notes
I just ordered a rainbow tin of this. I like my caffeine in the mornings and early afternoon so I figured this would be a good choice today. I had tried it a long time ago (one of my first loose leaf teas I’ve ever tried) and I remembered enjoying it a lot. Its like a warm spicy hug in a glass. It’s tastes like French toast with cinnamon and cardamom. I even like the hint of lemon as a lingering flavor. I drank it with a little bit of milk and sugar (I usually drink my black teas this way). Loved the creaminess the splash of milk gave it.
Flavors: Cardamom, Cinnamon, Coriander, Lemon
Preparation
I haven’t really been into the fruity herbal teas lately but I am really enjoying this one. The last one I tried was Alpine Punch and it was good… but this one is great. It’s really refreshing. I can really taste the raspberry, and I love the tartness the raspberries bring forward. I taste the orange slightly at the beginning. This is on my list of teas I would like to own!
Flavors: Floral, Orange Zest, Raspberry
Preparation
This has got to be one of my all time favorites! Tastes exactly like a mocha coffee. I’ve been trying to cut back on coffee… so having a tea like this really helps! The smell is to die for once it’s steeped. I steeped for at least 20 min, and added a pinch of sugar and milk.
Flavors: Apple, Coffee, Creamy, Mocha
Preparation
MMM the smell of this one is amazing! Berry delicious. It tastes as good as it smells!! It’s got the tartness that I love too. This is definitely a go to for something with no caffeine.
Flavors: Berries, Blackberry, Blueberry, Lemon Zest, Raspberry, Strawberry
Preparation
Got this in my advent calendar… I drank this straight with a little bit of sugar. At first I didn’t think it was anything special, but as it started to cool down a bit more I found myself drinking it really fast. Could really taste the almonds, apple and cinnamon. I’d drink it again, just dont know If I’d buy any for myself.
Flavors: Almond, Apple, Cinnamon, Coconut
Preparation
I really enjoyed this detox tea, almost as much as I loved the antioxidants in this blend. It’s got a sweet, but almost floral taste. I added a bit of sugar, and no milk ( usually I drink mine with milk). I would buy this again, just because it’s a good detox tea and has a nice taste too.
Flavors: Berries, Hibiscus, Lemongrass
Preparation
I was sitting here for a while wondering what I should drink as a good night time tea… and it just occurred to me I had gotten this in Davids Tea advent calendar and had skipped over it because chamomile is like a warm blanket to me… puts me right to sleep. Loving the strong peppermint flavour, and i’m loving how bold the chamomile flavour is as well! It’s got a hint of some floral notes as well. I better get going, wow this night time tea has got valerian root as well… i’ll be sleeping in no time. Glad I put this on my next order, can’t wait, it’s like christmas all over again!
Flavors: Lemongrass, Peppermint
Preparation
I really enjoyed this tea, although I love any Pu’erh teas!!! This was my second time steeping it… so I knew to steep it longer than they recommend. I steeped it for about 10 mins and added in a little milk and sugar. I love how I can actually taste the graham crackers. I’m not really tasting the “chai” side of it. Either way I really enjoyed it!
Flavors: Cinnamon, Graham Cracker, Marshmallow
Preparation
I got this one in my Davids Tea advent calendar… yummy! I don’t usually like green teas, but thankfully this one does not taste like one! Tastes exactly like a spiced eggnog, almost like a black tea. I steeped it for about 10 minutes and then added a splash of milk. The milk makes it creamy and amazing! So sad Davids Tea doesn’t sell it on it’s own :(
Flavors: Apple, Butterscotch, Clove, Eggnog
