When I read the description of this tea on the website, I knew I had to have it! This seemed like a tea I would love – a green tea base with a rose floral profile. I LOVE jasmine green tea, so I wanted to give this one a try.
Okay, so I need to start by describing the smell. It smells floooral, almost like a rose perfume. I know for some people this might be off-putting, but again, I love floral blends, so I was excited to try this tea.
When I steeped this hot, it tasted good. Like a sencha green tea with rose notes (so it lives up to its namesake).
However, when this is cold steeped with ice and a tiny bit of sugar, it is magic! I love floral ice teas, so I enjoyed drinking this one cold.
This would be an awesome tea for Spring or Summer.
I could see myself making a huge pitcher of this as an iced tea. It is a beautiful and strong floral tea that truly tastes like a green rose tea.
