Perhaps the best green tea I’ve ever had. So incredibly fresh. Picked at the end of March and I received my order last week (so about a month since it was picked!) The freshness is really obvious in the flavor. Slightly nutty, bright green and vibrant.

Flavors: Butter, Nutty, Seaweed, Toasted Rice

Just received my One River order a few days ago, and very impressed with the couple teas I’ve tried so far. This is really nice- lots of dried fruit and honey.

Mmmmm, this is good. Not sure why I gave it a lower rating previously, but the bag that I just opened is delicious. Honey, floral yumminess.

Sad this is already gone. So tasty and milky. Like a creamy lilac stew. Will probably purchase again at some point.

Finished off a 15g bag over the last few mornings. It’s lovely and bright, and has been a really nice tea to wake up with. It’s very forgiving for the first 5 steeps or so, but starts to get bitter quickly after that.

Flavors: Cut Grass, Flowers, Green Melons, Lilac

Sipdown 37 – 2024

Didd not expect how reddish brown this steep would be, considering how green the dry leaf is. This smells so unique – spinachy, but also really floral (like lilac). Super umami broth. Like a veggie stew.

Flavors: Artichoke, Lilac, Mushrooms, Spinach, Umami

This smells super roasty. Like bordering on burnt? But the burnt aroma doesn’t translate as much to the flavor. Definitely more like a traditional hojicha. Nice and toasty, slightly caramelly.

Flavors: Caramelized Sugar, Fireplace, Roasty
