72 Tasting Notes
One of the two teas from the winter collection I was most excited for (the other being the still unavailable Alpine Punch). I steeped Snow Bunny for about 6 minutes in fresh-from-the-kettle water, and I also added a touch of sugar.
First impressions – the dried tea is beautiful, but lacking in smell. I do get the smell of walnut, but not much else. The smell of the brewed tea is also pretty mild, but the subtle note of banana is inviting.
Flavor – really nice! Not an overt “Banana bread!!!” taste, but rather a light black tea with banana and just a hint of walnut.
Lovability – I can see this tea becoming a tradition that will lead to heartache when the winter collection ends. I can see it as my companion whilst wrapping Christmas gifts and after frolicking in the snow. I think it lives up to its DT description, and I would definately suggest you guys try it out!
