I hate eggnog, I don’t know why I bought this. Whatever, I guess it smells pretty good and it’s full of white chocolate.

Brewed at boiling for 8 minutes. It got really cloudy, probably from the white chocolate pieces.

It’s… Okay. Wouldn’t buy again, but not undrinkable.

Because having the flu means sampling all the teas I just bought!

Smells like chocolate cake, very indulgent. The sprinkles are fun but probably unnecessary?

Brewed with boiling water for about 5 minutes in my new Adagio IngenuiTEA brewer.

Pretty good, I think I’ll brew it stronger next time to get more of the chocolatey flavor. Definitely needs sugar given the dessert like nature of the tea.

Dry nose: Sweet, a little spicy, very fragrant. Carrots, pumpkin, spices.

Tasting notes: Surprisingly good. Not as spicy as it smells. It has more of a pumpkin flavor than the Pumpkin Chai though, which I like. A little sweet, a little savory. Tastes like a fall harvest.

DavidsTea, my guilty basic bitch pleasure. It’s like, negative a million degrees (okay, like… 65 degrees) outside, so I thought a chai latte would be the perfect way to start the day after sleeping in with my cat and about six blankets.

Pumpkin Chai Latte recipe:
1 1/2 cups of whole milk
2 teaspoons Pumpkin Chai
1 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1 cinnamon stick

Add milk to sauce pan; when simmering, add tea leaves. Keep at a simmer / low boil for six minutes. Add brown sugar, stir gently. Pour tea into glass through sieve, garnish with cinnamon stick.

Dry nose: Spicy, sweet, can definitely smell the pumpkin. Cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, carrot, and pumpkin.

Tasting note: Followed the above recipe. Creamy, sweet, spicy, and cozy. I haven’t had it straight yet, but if it’s anything like it smells I’m sure it’ll be amazing. I might add more clove and cinnamon, maybe a cardamom pod or two if I’m feeling fancy.

Dry nose: smells like potpourri and clove, not sure if I like it yet. I didn’t get the gross hibiscus smell though so I supose that’s a good sign?

Liquor: Deep, deep blood red.

Taste: Smells much more interesting than it tastes. A little tart, but I’m not tasting any of the spices I smelled. Sweetening it made it a bit less bland, but I’m not a fan.

Dry Nose: Strong fragrance of imitation vanilla.

Taste: Weirdly chemical taste to this one. I’m never a fan of vanilla flavoring unless it’s from an actual vanilla bean. It just tastes like there’s something missing.

Dry Nose: Fruit and spice.

Taste: Delicious! Tastes like a fall dessert. Lots of cinnamon and fruity notes. I wish the maple was a bit more pronounced but it’s still delicious.

Light, smooth, and aromatic. No bitterness at all. A very delicate black tea.

Perfect both hot and iced! Fruity, sweet, delicate. I like to add a decent amount of sugar to it of I’m brewing iced, but that’s the Southerner in me talking. Great as-is hot, lots of apple chunks to sweeten it up.

In an attempt to save money, I’ve been trying to figure out which teas in my cupboard re-steep the best. This one did surprisingly well, I did the first steeping for 3 minutes each. Still plenty flavorful, could probably go for a third time if I wanted to.
