42 Tasting Notes
This tea really gives you a bang for your buck! It’s already cheap, and 50 grams fills a whole bag because it’s so light!
This is powerful stuff, and a bit too strong for me to enjoy on it’s own. However, make it into a latte with some vanilla syrup and it’s amazing. (This is the “candycane latte” that was on the Christmas menu at Teaopia, but they always have vanilla syrup so it can be made year round.)
This… tea.
This damn tea.
…IS DELICIOUS!!!
And there’s SOOOO many ways to enjoy it!!
1) Brewed on its own. A lovely rooibos with mild chocolate tones.
2) Amp it up with some sugar and milk. The sugar helps bring out the flavours.
3) Brew it in warm milk, DELICIOUS!!
4) Brew it in 4 oz of water. Pour it into a shaker with 4 oz. milk and ice to make an iced latte. Tastes like a mild milkshake.
5) Mix with steamed milk and a few pumps of chocolate to make the best latte you will ever experience in your life.
This tea is very perplexing… It’s a weight-loss tea… that tastes like BUTTER!! Haha.
Seriously though, this is my favourite “plain” oolong. (Fine Champaigne is farrr too bland for me.)
This makes a perfectly smooth cup. I only recommend re-steeping it once, though.
This is… a great tea. Absolutely lovely. It’s got a leafy taste, but is very mild. The sucrose isn’t over-powering, and actually compliments it really well. It’s worth it for the health benefits alone.
I just wish it had caffeine…. sigh.
Also each ball can be re-steeped up to 4 times, still with a full flavour!
