My first tea from this company thanks to the TTB! This tastes a little toasty from the hojicha, and other than that I taste a lot of mint. There’s not much chocolate. The toasty and mint flavors go okay together, but not super beautifully. I prefer other mint chocolate teas, though this has been fun.

I really wanted to like these chocolate hojicha blends, but they’ve fallen a bit flat for me as well… A shame, as I do really like her cinnamon raisin version.
I think chocolate and green tea together get an “ugh” from me…far too different in flavor personalities!
It sort of makes sense when it comes to hojicha for me, since it’s so roasty. And I was thankful that she just used cocoa and cacao nibs instead of adding chocolate flavoring.
