thanks for sharing this one with me courtney I’ve had the mint cacao before and wasn’t overly impressed. With this one i found that it was a whole lot of cacao tea…with hints of strawberry that would pop up now and then. So i subtracted a few points for not being as strawberry-licious as i wanted it to be. but it was still good and still tasty and when i DID get the strawberry hints, i was happy :)

I was so impressed with myself for finding a tea to sneak in that it appeared you hadn’t tried haha!

Fjellrev

How long do you usually steep the cacao teas for, Sil? I steeped this one for > 30min and I got a lot of strawberry. But maybe we just differ. :)

Sil

uh this one steeped for over 20 mins..i lost track of time haha

Fjellrev

That’s my Sil. :D These are the perfect tisanes to walk away from and lose track of time. Like I was saying earlier, I left the Mint Cacao for five freaking hours today, and I’d say it benefited from it haha.

VariaTEA

I had the same problem. I steeped it for almost 45 minutes and got cacao and no strawberry. It makes me really sad too because it smelled so amazing.

Fjellrev

Wow! I’m really lucky then.

Courtney

Fjellrev I’m with you.

666th post. This kept staring at me, all evil-like, so I figured it would make an appropriate post. Too bad I only ordered a sample because I have one serving left and I didn’t really anticipate liking this enough to want more so soon. Maybe it’s just a phase?

Melted Neapolitan ice cream again. I kept picking up the mug and taking another sip in agony; while each sip is blissful, it’s simultaneously terrifying, because I’m inching my way closer… and closer… to the bottom of the mug.

Perfect thing to drink for this post, I guess. Plus I’m all decked out for the occasion wearing a Metalocalypse t-shirt, and I just watched an episode when I got home too.

LOL! Happy 666!

666 really only reminds me of when I worked on the bear study we had a tagged male 666 who we nicknamed the devil bear. When he was in his young and stupid phase we caught him almost everyday in the live traps we had in the capture recapture study. Lucky for him he spent most of his time in the wildlife reserve part of the study otherwise I don’t know if he would have made it to 5. Despite that he would sometimes wander into our field camp, but never really caused any problems.

I hate it when you end up loving the one you bought the least of. Especially now as I have restricted my buying.

OMGsrsly

Woo, 666! :D

It’s the Baptist Sunday School teacher gene (runs deep in the DNA) in me, but I had to write 667 really fast after I wrote 666 so I didn’t land there :)

Also, Metalocalypse, YAY!

TeaLady441

Oh yeah – Metalocalypse!!!

Indigobloom

Happy 666th note!!!

Fjellrev

yyz, that sounds like an interesting study. And I agree, I bought samples just for the time being so it’s kind of annoying when this happens, especially when you’re trying to watch your money.

Nice to see Metalocalypse fans here!
