36 Tasting Notes
I’m trying to get back to a regular tea time and working on the rest of my samples from MissB
Had this one with breakfast & thought it was good, but I would’ve preferred more vanilla. I’ll finish the sample I have, but it’s not something I’d purchase.
Preparation
Backlog.
I tried overleafing as MissB suggested, and I also tried stirring to melt the chocolate chips better, but I still couldn’t make this work for me. Maybe my taste buds are too used to artificial peppermint tastes that don’t have that “green” aspect? There’s something very vegetal in this to me. In any case, I passed it along in the Caffeine-Free/Decaf Traveling Tea Box so hopefully it will be a nice treat for someone else. It has such great ratings, I really hate that I dislike it so much!
Preparation
Backlog. At some point I’ll log teas the same day I drink them!
Had this with breakfast the other morning, and it’s still so, so good! Yummy, chocolatey, amazing. Finished off my sample from MissB, now it’s on my wishlist!
Flavors: Chocolate
Preparation
Not sure why I didn’t log previous cups, but this is the 2nd or 3rd time I’ve had this tea. It’s a good chocolate-mint tea, not super strong or super sweet but still very nice. Had it with breakfast but would probably enjoy it more at night.
1.5 tsp in 8oz. boiling water
Preparation
My last sample from the Caffeine-Free/Decaf Traveling Tea Box. Had this one with breakfast this morning, and I’ve decided I just really don’t care for black tea at all! Tried it plain, then added a splash of Half & Half, but it’s just not for me.

Another sample from the Caffeine-Free/Decaf Traveling Tea Box. This was my very first Earl Grey, and probably my last! The bergamot just reminds me too much of the smell of natural cleaning products… I couldn’t get past it. Also I’m realizing I just don’t care for black tea at all.
Preparation
Let me say that I am a connosuier of Earl Grey teas and this is the worst one I’ve ever tasted. Please, do yourself a favor and try Earl Grey Bravo from Adagio before you give up on it. This one tasted chemical and gross. Adagio’s Earl Grey Bravo is delicious to me. I would be happy to send you a $5 gift certificate if you haven’t ordered from them before.

Another sample from the Caffeine-Free/Decaf Traveling Tea Box. Fig Rose is one I had looked at during Teavana’s Heavenly Sale, but ended up skipping, so I was happy to see it in the box. I wasn’t in the mood for hot tea so I made it iced, following the instructions on the back of the package. I really didn’t get a fig taste? Seemed like my cup was a lot of hibiscus, along with something I couldn’t quite place (but definitely didn’t like). Couldn’t get through a cup, ended up pouring it out :(
