I find it so odd that this tea is named for it’s nuttiness yet the first ingredient is apricot. I was hoping for a warm, toasty, creamy taste and while there is a warmth to it, it’s mostly fruity. I think the monk fruit adds a sweetness that I also didn’t expect with this tea. I don’t dislike it, but the name is a bit misleading. I understand that there are nuts/nut flavoring in it, but it’s not the first flavor you get on your first sip.

Dry leaf: Smells like an apricot orchard up front, with some pleasant woody/earthy notes from the mate.

Liqueur: Dark orange color. Sweet apricot aroma complimented by raw almonds.

Flavour: Sweet apricot flavors up front followed by mild almond note. Mate provides nice body and depth.
