But when you don’t have time to fire up the oven and get baking, this deliciously sweet white tea blend is the next best thing. With almonds, walnuts, caramel, brittle and chocolate chips, it’s like brewing up an instant sugar cookie. giant tea tasting party!

first i ran 6 miles in the graveyard with Regina and then we drank:

oh my this one is a bit strange, in a good way. i almost smell a little alcohol on the nose?

to explain in more detail, i usually get out 3 teapots, two glass gongfus that hold about 8oz each, and one forlife teapot that holds 14oz. then i let the guest start to choose!
i line up 4 sets of cups and we start to brew!
pour water for one pot, time it, pour between the cups, begin brewing the next tea, as we sample the first, smelling some more teas, drink half a cup and add raw milk to the last half to see how it changes, about 4 oz of each tea, tea after tea.
i gave Regina 2 types of tea to take home, and my sister maybe 6 or 7.
i buy gold foil bags from carytown teas and use them to share samples with friends. not the cheapest solution at 45cents each but still very affordable and i like sending people home with quality, knowing the tea won’t go wrong before they drink it because it’s protected.
(i think i got my friend hooked and we are gonna do it again this coming weekend! YAY!)

Somehow, icing this made it more palatable to me. I think it has something to do with me being more okay with non-black teas iced rather than hot. I do like cookie dough ice cream, so that could be it. Still not my favorite though. I think white teas are better flavored with fruit. They really should have made this a black tea!

“Are you baking? And this early in the morning??” inquired my husband upon smelling this tea as he prepared for work…

“It’s tea, silly. Liquid cookie dough tea,” I reply and he goes about his morning preparations.

Yet another flavour my gluten-deprived tongue has been longing for; the taste of raw, unadulterated cookie dough right out of the bowl. Yes, there are gluten-free recipes, but currently my stomach does not appreciate chocolate as much as it should. So, I have been left wanting… until today!

When I heard that DAVIDsTEA was releasing this tea I knew I HAD to try it. Yes, all the cake teas are satisfactory and delicious, but if it comes down to cookies or cake? I’ll pick cookies almost every time. This tea does not disappoint! It’s sweet without sweetener added and no awkward stevia either. I can see myself going through this tea pretty fast… might just have to buy a tin.

I paired this with some freshly baked chocolate cookies. I was hoping that it would bring out more of the cookie dough taste. I still find this more nutty than cookie dough. Still enjoyable, but still not exactly as I was hoping for.
I boiled the water and then let it cool a bit before steeping.

Thank you Courtney for sending some of this to try! I had to recheck if this was a white tea since the leaves are so dark, also because the steep temp seems a bit high. A BIG walnut was scooped into my tea scoop. I waited a while for the water to cool for the first cup. If I had to taste test this blind, I’d definitely say the flavor is supposed to be cookie dough. It has that chocolate flavor that only cookie dough seems to have. So it could remind me of cookie dough with the chocolate on its own, but the other flavors work well too! It reminds me of how much I miss cookie dough ice cream…

Relaxing with some Cookie Dough before bed. I am so exhausted after a busy day of coughing and Disney movies. I did get some teas packaged up and ready to send, so when I go out tomorrow I can hit the post office. And I am very impatiently awaiting my Valentine’s Day delivery of more DavidsTea. Yum. YUM.

This is a terrible tasting note, but there isn’t much left to say about this tea. It tastes like I am eating raw cookie dough. Which is amazing. It is amazing.

Woot, TY Brewteally Sweet for a sample of this!

I always wanted to try this tea, but never felt like ordering 50g online. Come on DT, open a shop in Southern California!

I found the steeping instructions a little scary for a white tea, but I put faith in it, and steeped for 5 minutes with 200f water. Cookie Dough sips in light and really walnutty with an aftertaste of cookie dough! Pretty neat, though overall a little watered down despite me overleafing. I find this quite similar to DT’s Buttercream, with a hint of chocolate and without the chamomile.

I used the last of my samples of this over the weekend :( I was hoping I could hold onto it until my DAVIDs order came in. No such luck, I couldn’t resist it. I’ve logged a review of the flavor before, but this time the taste of chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven prompted me to make cookies…which turned out more like muffin tops but oh well:

1 banana
1 egg white
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp ground flax
half cup flour
2 scoops of protein powder (I used chocolate)
1 tsp cinnamon
quarter cup chocolate chips
1 tsp baking soda

mix, blend, put in 1 inch drops, bake 8 minutes. Then I “frosted” them with almond butter.
