So this was suppose to be a sipdown evening of Sat 1/9 as I was doing the overnight shift at work. I’ll admit that I am not a black tea fan but trying to drink what I have so I made 2 sachets hot & plain in my everyday travel mug (DT favorite tumbler in navy blue which is 20 oz). Then I left in my boyfriend’s car when he dropped me off. So instead this was sipped cold & with milk with my meal before I worked Sun 1/10 overnight shift.

Sipdown 1/7 cold brew pitcher. Last week I was feeling under the weather so I thought this would be a zippy tea to help me feel better. I think I’d like it better without the matcha because it muddies the mug I sip it in/pitcher I brew it in. Nice to finish this tin, have a full tin of same size and not sure if I have more in my stash elsewhere.

sipdown evening of 1/7 hot & plain cuppa. Since I wasn’t feeling well just wanted something hot to sip on while chilling at home this evening and pulled this out from my advent calendar from @teaandmeblog. Nothing too exciting-definitely tasted like anise & rooibos.

Another day (Thurs 1/7), another cold brew pitcher done! :D I brewed this warm (leftover hot water at work) evening of 1/4 and then cold-steeped 1/5 and drank 1/6 & 1/7. I had never had this tea before despite having 10 pitcher packs and a few tins of loose leaf.. this a weird mix of ingredients so it was just kind of a muddy mix. I’ll see if as I sip the rest I have things become more clear or not.

I finished this cold-brew pitcher yesterday 1/5 my first day off in 2021. This is from a chai cafe in Chicago that I grabbed a bunch of their 3 oz loose leaf teas back in late October 2020. A nice straight green tea from Nepal that came out strong with 4 DT PS in a DT perfect pitcher.

I finished this cold-brew pitcher yesterday 1/3. This is my tea method by default as it is so forgiving and easy to transport (I have 2 pitchers usually going between work/home, and I’ll transport back and forth as a I drink/start new ones). It was pleasant enough; I think I have more of this tea in my B&B section of my stash.

Last one from 1/1, on IG @teaaholic has a #drinkwhatyouown & my dad made & gifted me a wooden advent calendar per my request. I will pick 25 teas each month (one for each drawer) and have my boyfriend randomize them for me. This one was the first one. I love this tea, one of my favorites because I enjoy fruit, creamy desserts, muffins, herbal tisanes, and DT. Since this was a larger sampler packet (15g) they gave out many autumns back (2016?) I thought it would be great as a latte. I normally just drink whole milk but I have a stash of chocolate oat milk. Brewed this up on the stovetop with the oat milk + tea. Ugh. Not a fan of the combination. Ah well, it’s over and I move on. Luckily I still have more of this tea so while I do need to sip it down since it’s older I don’t have to end on a low note.

So I believe I made this tea as a cold brew pitcher (as I do most of my teas) 12/31 and then it was ready/drank it throughout the day 1/1/21? This is actually one of my favorite winter holiday themed teas even though I have quite a few large bags of this from B&B (formerly bluebird tea co).
