Sat 1/30 Before bed I had one travel mug left of this in fridge so I finished that up. This was a cold-brew pitcher with a pitcher pack. I love how refreshing this tea is, I actually like a rooibos tea haha :) I wish there were more teas with aloe vera in them.

Thurs 1/28 cold-brew pitcher finished, I just put the entire pitcher that I had brewed a day or two before in a giant plastic jug I normally reserve for carrying water and just drank it throughout my 2nd shift (3 pm to 11 pm) that I worked at my side hotel with my ex-boss J! It was nice to work with him although weird since I’ve worked solo 99% of the time since last March.

So I haven’t updated steepster all week, I’m on a 3 week straight stretch (Fri 1/15 to Fri 2/5) at work with only one day off during the period (Tues 19th) either doing 1 or 2 shifts a day…last week Thurs 1/28 before work I finished the last of this deceptive little foil bag. Even though the bag is the standard DT 2 oz size, I definitely had 8 or so ounces in there as eons ago I dump a bunch of bags together into one. I finished this off with chocolate oat milk, one overripe banana, too much matcha powder in blender as I got quite the sugar rush realizing I had to down most of quickly before catching the bus to work. When I find more of this (as I’m sure there is considering the size of my tea stash) I actually enjoyed this combo this best of the ways I tried to get this sipped down.

Finished this last night 1/24 I think….working all these different shift times at work and can’t remember what day it is anymore LOL!! Anyway, I’ve been on a genmaicha kick lately, this one was actually made before my last two sipdowns but was savoring this one a little longer. Cold brew pitcher of the entire packet, it was so refreshing with the candy cane mint along with the roasty green tea. I’m a fan :)

Sun Jan 24… a non-descript pitcher of tea (brewed hot, added cold water, then put in fridge). I like genmaicha but this one is just fine no additional flavors or anything. Pleasant but nothing to write home about.

Sat Jan 23…another day, another pitcher…actually brewed this one warm to melt any chocolate then added cold water and chilled in fridge. This one just tasted like genmaicha for me. I have more of this so maybe if I try it hot other flavors will come out.

Sat Jan 23…one of the first times I ever was at @davidstea in person was fall 2016 in Chicago and this tea was one of the ones I bought. The tea is okay… These days I mix it with another tea and make lattes but I finished last of tea in this tin this afternoon.

Fri Jan 22…2nd tea of the day was last of a cute tin and 1 sample pack of this tea in hot water and apple pie oat milk creamer as a latte. Another combination not a fan of but trying to be creative to use what I have around.

Early AM hours today I need something with caffeine but with some cozy flavor, found 2 sachets of this in my tea bag (I carry a bag full of tons of different teas and measuring spoons, filters, etc. pretty much everywhere.. these days just the back/forth of work/home, but in pre-March 2020 times I’d carry it in my backpack or tote bag out other places and especially during my travels!)
