So, I love this tea but, what I’m actually excited about is. … I’m getting my first yixing pot today! How cool is that! I’m pumped.

Anyways. SIPDOWN
beautifully hand spun pearls create an interesting amalgam of gold and deep brown. Smells like a bold Yunnan black tea, which makes sense it is…
Nice deep dark chocolate dust aroma.
During the steeping I get the fall smell of wet fall leaves.
Tasting: smooth soothing flavor with nice cocoa undertones. I also find a natural sweetness like honey as well. I love this tea and with the caffeine kick it has, I love all morning.
Something else, I have a lot of this tea… ALOT ALOT so if anyone is interested in a swap for it please let me know.

Flavors: Cacao

Wooo! Congrats on the yixing! I ordered my first one just a week or so ago so I’m in the same boat of excitement. Can’t wait for it to arrive!

I am in love with my tea.. It’s odd really. I have been off of the website so long that sometimes I tend to forget how new at this I am. I have been working at teavana for 4 months now and I wish I could give a fair review on this tea, but I have never really had a darjeeling to compare it with.

I love how fruity and light the aroma and flavor of this tea truly is. It moves me to another place in time, somewhere more serene. It’s beautiful “silver” liquor is unique in the black tea family and so is its amazing level of antioxidants. This tea is amazing by its self as well as blended with a flavored tea or a herbal tea to get a big punch of caffeine.

Do understand that I am not being one sided at all just because I work there, again, I simply have nothing to compare it to _

I am in love with this tea… I love the simple, floral flavor that settle in my mouth, and the fresh aroma that comes off of the steeped leaf. I am looking for some oolongs like this, and would absolutely love some suggestions. Please and thank you.

In short, http://steepster.com/teas?oolong=on for the best rated oolongs as per Steepster. You’ll probably love Verdant’s Tieguanyin.

So I’m not one for straight greens… Or greens at all really, but I do like this tea very much. Grassy, buttery and bold, this green is nice and forward with flavor. Now, I do work at teavana now, and though that is the case, I am not bias, having loved tea for before I worked there. If anyone wants me to review anything, please let me know^_^

So… Long time no tea….^_^. It has been some time since I have been on here and for good reason. I have been dealing with my life in a way that I never thought I would have to, and after dealing with my demons and my divorce I have found time in my life to find someone my way back. This tea gets a bad rep, but rather think it’s breath of fresh air.

First things first… Hello Steepster. It has truely been a rough to weeks. I have a couple apologies to pass out. To both Tommy the Toad and to Brian. You have been amazingly patient and i kinda dropped the ball hard. Shortly after i set up our swaps, a hateful turn of events with a room mate ended in an immediate removal of my family and all of our property. it did take us sometime to get back on our feet and i promise that as soon as we get the reat of our tea collection here and sorted, both of your shipment will be on its ways with excellent extras. again guys i am truly sorry for my slip and i’ll make for it. Good night guys

So… this is some exciting stuff. This is my first ever Puerh. and i didn’t know rather to be excited or intimidated by it. It is wonderfully malty like the yunnan blacks i have had and so much more dark… almost like a cup of coke. Dry, it smelled a little fishy. Brewed is is a wonderful thing. having said all of that. i’m not even sure if this is the same tea as the teavivre tea. The packaging look identical so i kind of assumed. None the less, amazing.

Thank you Tommy for my new Fixation.

I do enjoy a flavored black every once in a blue moon… except… i love this intimately. It’s right up there with my blessed Nine Dragon Golden Needles.

Now don’t get me wrong, i have always enjoyed a cup of flavored tea, but i always looked at it more as a treat. This tea is very different indeed. The flavor is very unique in that it is not an earl gray, but uses Bergamot so its flavor profile is familiar… kinda like home away from home.

This was a surprise from MadelineAlyce…

The dry leafs were very strong of citrus and grapefruit, which is nice because it’s a nice head cleaner in the morning. As for the past few morning, i have had such a migraine and i have almost been catatonic, so my housemate woke me up at about 8 pm and asked me if i wanted a cup of tea, which i did, so i peeled myself off the couch and did something…made tea.

Nice and sweet with a little acid. Citrus filled grapefruit fills my tastebuds full of life.
thank you to miss Alyce for this sample…it’s awesome.
