Nice tea, I think I may try to steep a little longer at maybe 90c next time as this was a bit more bitter and astringent than I liked.

Flavors: Earth, Floral, Muscatel, Vegetal

Not bad, reminds me of a blend between Golden Yunan and a Darjeeling. A bit on the weak side.

This is the first Earl Grey I have ever tried and it is my favorite. My local Coffee Shop (Rao’s in Amherst) serves this tea and they always give you way more than a tsp per cup. I might have to try this with my other teas as this one tastes phenominal and never bitters. The bergamont is perfect, and the flavor has just the punch that other Earl Greys seem to be lacking. Perhaps I will need to try to use more tea for the others. I wouldn’t say it’s as smooth as others, but it taste so good!

This is one of the worst Earl Grey’s I have ever drink. I was just getting into loose tea and noticed that it had 4.5+ stars on Amazon with over 20 reviews. Either I was duped or received a bad batch of tea. Not sure but the unsteeped tea smells great, but the bergamont is disgusting. It has the smell and taste of chemcal cleaners and the tea itself is a dark brown and not an amber or red like most black teas. There are also a lot of fines in this bag that will settle out into your teapot, unlike some higher end teas. I guess at $16 for 2 lbs of tea, you get what you pay for. I just didn’t think it would be this bad.

Bought some of this a couple mons ago and boy is it smooth. The only complaaint I have is that it’s a bit weak tasting, especially the bergamot.

It’s certainly a refreshing tea and I had high hopes for it, but was really let down at how strong the spearmint is. It certainly overpowers this tea.

This is a really tasty Earl Grey. The bergamont is pretty firm and natural unlike my Coffee Bean Direct Earl Grey which smells/tastes like soap. Even at 4 minutes I didn’t taste any bitterness at 1tsp per cup. The un-steeped smell is out of this world and the lavendar really gives it that extra kick that the normal Rishi Earl Grey I think is lacking. I’m totally on the scented (blue flower, lavendar, etc) Earl Grey bandwagon!

This tea isn’t bad, I’ve been a strict Earl Grey drinker for the past few months so it was nice to try a non fragranced or non flavored tea. The one thing I might add though is that it tasted a bit weak at a tsp per cup (although Rishi suggests 1 tbsp per cup for this and many of their teas which is wayyyy to much imho). I’ll have to give this another go around and update accordingly.
