Michelle kindly sent a sample my way and her review mentions she didn’t care for this one; I’m guzzling it, so we balance out! I usually associate strawberry flavor (it is a little candy-like in this blend) with spring and summer, but the pu-erh/hazelnut base grounds it; gives it a good deep end. Light on the hazelnut.
If you’ve ever read any of the Redwall novels from Brian Jacques (aimed at middle grades, but delicious grown-up reads as well), you’ll get it when I say that this is something the abbott would have served the Dibbuns at teatime.

Cameron, I read most of them aloud with my son when he was small and we always got excited when there was a Dibbuns scene or it was mealtime!
Ashmanra, you absolutely do! Virtuous and stalwart mice, moles, and voles living in a forest abbey fending off evil foxes and weasels, some of whom were just kind of flat scary. Matter of fact, I think I have one title languishing in the found-it-for-a-quarter paperback basket on my shelf that may have to be ferreted out.
(Since they’re novel-sized chapter books, your grands aren’t ready for them yet, but they will be before you know it.)
The food descriptions are amazing! I once recreated a “Deeper ’n Ever Turnip ’n Tater ’n Beetroot Pie” ha ha.
Oh, I remember that one!
I can hardly wait to do chapter book read-alouds with them! We used to read for hours a day.
It certainly is a drinkable tea, just not quite to my liking, I think I sent you the last of my tin, so I’ll call it a sip down for me :)
Saw it in the TTB but decided to pass it. Afterall, you can’t try all the teas!
