385 Tasting Notes
Coconut and creme flavouring give a really interesting twist to an otherwise classic Earl Grey tea. They give it richness and depth, but are subtle and don’t conceal the basic bergamot and cornflower character. Tasty and drinkable.
Flavors: Bergamot, Coconut, Cream, Earl Grey, Flowers
Preparation
Lots of lychee that feels rather natural despite being just a flavouring (probably due to perfume -y specific of the fruit). Malty and slightly astringent base black tea, a touch of sweetness impression. Not bad.
Flavors: Astringent, Lychee, Malty
Preparation
Complex fruit flavour with slight sourness and a bit of tartness. Great black currant undertones in the background and aftertaste. Not bad for a cheap hotel tea.
Flavors: Apple, Black Currant, Pineapple, Raspberry, Sour, Tart
Preparation
Very strong artificial vanilla aroma, reminding me of vanilla pudding. Only traces of black Ceylon tea underneath.
Taste is better, because you can actually sense the tea and vanilla flavour is less intrusive here. However, there’s not much taste at all and all it leaves is a faint malty aftertaste.
Drinkable, yes, but mediocre and artificiel.
Flavors: Artificial, Vanilla
Preparation
Lots of ginger in aroma (which is spicy, citrusy, very warming), lots of turmeric in colour. Taste is quite distinct, spicy, but rather short (except for the lingering ginger spiciness). Only traces of honey flavouring in the back.
It’s not exactly bad, but too one-dimensional for me.
Flavors: Citrusy, Ginger, Spicy
