It is said to be the best tea for the beginners. In my case it is perfect for sweet tooth. I cannot imagine any tea better for coming home after a walk in -10 degrees. For all freezing sweet tooth people out there, this is a little cup (a few of them) of perfection. <3
The best oolong I’ve ever had…have to experiment with the steep time but what I got from the 2nd steep (1st one rejected after 5sec as instructed by the tea company) blew me away. Never expected to like any non-black tea so much.
Preparation
First steep rejected after 5 sec as advised by the tea company. Second steep was very fun to look at while steeping – the “tea button” was opening slowly and it was interesting to watch how the colors were traveling from inside of it to the whole container. I’m not a big fan of pu-erh teas in general but this one tastes really really good.

After my first disappointment over this tea, I was contacted by the tea company and given new instructions. This time I was told I needed to double the amount of tea and drastically shorten the time to 30 sec for the first steep (actually second, first one needed to be rejected after 5 sec as they say).
I must say I’m quite surprised what I got from it – this is a COMPLETELY different tea, a completely different experience. What I’m drinking right now is quite honestly one of the best black teas I’ve ever tasted.
