71 Tasting Notes
I got the iced tea version of this tea. I wish I had just gotten the regular version of it… It was a smaller amount for the same price. It was about 8 tsp if you want the same amount as an iced tea pouch. Tried it a few different ways. The way that worked the best for me was to cold brew it for 15 hours or more. I would pop a bag into a quart mason Jar and all the flavors came through.
Flavors: Apple, Fruity, Passion Fruit, Sour, Sweet
Preparation
Although this one is fan favorite, it is just an average tea that I would drink but not one that I would buy again. It was fruity and nutty but there was some part that was missing. The artificial Flavoring was a little too much for my taste. There was something a little off about the tea. It was sickeningly sweet to me. I also prefer to drink all my teas unsweetened which might be why it was not a good experience for me.
Flavors: Almond, Fruity, Nuts, Nutty
Preparation
First Lapsang I tried just from the description at the airport. I was blown away. It was like if you could turn Christmas lifetime movie into a drink. It was warm, toasty and reminded me of a camp fire on a cold day- an odd description for tea but it created a nice ambiance.
It was very very smokey, artificial, it was what I liked. I love the smokey taste so much and it was very prominent in this tea. The tea was very forgiving in the brew time. I found that out by accident. It is also not as great when cold, so drink it when its hot or warm. Cold it taste like liquid smoke.
Definitely glad I picked this up at the airport and I am trying to find a lapsang similar to this one. Having a hard time doing that though.
Preparation
First Impression: creates a murky green brew. I brewed it at a green tea temperature. Could only get one brew out it.
Taste: A Strong orange Citrus flavor with a light floral note to it. The citrus flavor is the most prominent. It was rather lovely.
Better than I had expected. It was good but it did not do anything for colds/health benefits.
I would not buy it for that purpose although Republic of Tea does make other teas for that, this one did not hit the mark for that purpose.
It was something that I liked while it lasted but it is not something that I would purchase again. It was okay nothing exceptional.
Flavors: Citrus, Floral, Orange
Preparation
Got a few bags of these as sample with multiple orders. Decided to try these after running out of my regular one from Fortnum and Mason.
First impressions : As soon as I opened the bag, I could smell the strong scent of chamomile. It was delightful. The bag instantly caught my eye… The whole bag was filled with dusty petals the whole flower part was missing altogether.
Tea itself: It was lighter than the F&M that I was used to. It is a good cup of chamomile but it is not the best ever. It will do the job, if you are looking for a night cuppa. It will have to do fo now.
