Very well balanced and pungent Darjeeling. It has medium to light body and its mouthfeel is coating and oily. Dry leaves have a milky, nutty aroma with notes of mulberry and lily flowers. The later persists later on too, complemented by an apple-like scent.
The tea has a grape skin bitterness mixed with tree sap sweetness. It is floral and woody with hints of tree bark, stonefruits (peach), fern/fiddleheads, nutmeg, and autumn leaf pile. The aftertaste is long-lasting with notes of fresh walnuts and custard.
