This tea is really wonderful! By far the smoothest Earl I’ve ever had, the hazelnut really contributes well to this brilliant tea.

Being a custom blend, I followed a pattern that I thought would produce a generally good result, and was really pleased!

Measurement: 1 & 1/4 teaspoon
Temperature: 185F
Steep Time: 4 minutes 15 seconds.

This is another one that will go on my ‘buy more’ list!

I was astounded by this tea. Without a doubt, this is thus far, the best tea I’ve had.

The tea is a beautiful shade, with a wonderfully thick aroma, and smooth taste. I put a bit of sugar in mine, but I’m thinking that I don’t even need it. The tea is smooth, and just plain good. This tea is definitely going on my “but every month” list, and that is an exclusive list indeed!

This was my first Earl Grey loose leaf, and I’m still experimenting with it. Initially, I found the tea to be too bitter, but with a little sugar it became manageable. This isn’t the best Earl Grey I’ve ever had, but it’s still quite good if you’re willing to put some work into the production.

I received this sampler with my Earl Grey, and decided tonight to give it a try (being caffeine free, and myself wanting to go to bed).

I’ve only recently begun to drink loose-leaf tea, and even before that just switched from Lipton to single-brew tea bags. So I’d never had an herbal tea before. The first thing I noticed was the amazing aroma, I picked it up as soon as I first tore the bag, and it was quite unexpected.

Needless to say, I was very surprised to find that, once I’d placed the sample pack (conveniently the right measurement, I might add), in the perfect infuser (also from DAVIDsTEA), the steaming water turned pink! After five minutes of steeping, the liquid is now a dark pink/reddish color, much like the strawberries it’s made of.

Unfortunately, I’m not much of a strawberry fan, or at all, really. I didn’t find the blend very impressive in taste compared to it’s smell. A bit disappointing, but not the worst I’ve ever had. I simply don’t care for strawberries.

My Political Science teacher was kind enough to give me a sampler of this fine tea (about five or six bags, I believe). The tea itself was quite good. I brought the water to just under a boil, and poured about 350ml into my glass (which conveniently, was a beaker). I allowed the tea to steep for approximately 45 seconds or a minute. I was comfortable with the look even around 30 seconds, this tea doesn’t take long at all to reach readiness.

The bag’s design is quite interesting, and is part of the reason why steeping takes so little time compared to other teas I’ve experienced. I found this tea to be quite enjoyable (I did add a bit of sugar, but that’s just my standard routine). Very good!

The tea has a great taste and smell. I go for somewhere between 1 and 2 minutes of steep time, and add a half teaspoon of sugar to sweeten it a bit. It really is a good cuppa tea. Not the best, but definitely good when needed.
