18 Tasting Notes
I have been craving coffee all week, and this tea was amazing. It smells just like coffee and tastes like black tea. I was so excited to >sort of< be drinking coffee that I added creamer and Splenda to it – and it was delicious. It has more caffeine than I normally have in the green and oolong teas that I drink.
Preparation
This tea is the YUM! I brought mine to work, because, as the tea container states, nobody wants “an explosion” in the workplace. Too bad, I had only been at work less than two hours and needed some :-P
I would recommend this as a great decaffeinated tea for evening time. It has lots of soft, fruity, and flowery flavors.
And I definitely feel more relaxed after having my cup!
Like previous posters, this tea is nostalgic for me. My mom used to mix it with Tang to make a hot beverage. Lowering the steep time helps alleviate the bitterness of the black tea. I find it sweet enough to enjoy without adding a sweetener.
