I was excited to try this blend, now that at long last it’s available loose on the wall instead of in a gift set.

I was so disappointed. Boo.

It gave the distinct impression of drinking three different teas in rapid succession; every sip was like Wonka’s four-course chewing gum. First, a dark chocolate tea with a hint of non-descript berry. Then, immediately following, a sharply spiced chai, and finally a heavy licorice that clung to the back of my throat. The first two would have been alright individually, but the combination of the two was very off-putting. And the licorice – bleh. Just cloying and stuck to my mouth for way too long afterwards.

Will not repeat the experience. Am sad.
