I don’t usually reach for chamomile teas. I don’t like its flavour. But today afternoon-evening I wanted something to warm me up, caffeine-free (it’s getting a bit late for caffeine-in teas), and sleepy benefits will be welcomed too.
This blend from Kaylee isn’t pure chamomile! I saw some lemongrass and orange peel, blue cornflowers and probably some fruit (apple?) bits in the sachet. Thank you!
While chamomile is definitely dominant in this blend, it’s hi-Q one as it doesn’t have that gaggy flavour I am used to. AJRimmer mentions it’s almost fruity and I have to agree, definitely it tends to apple flavour and definitely a little of lemongrass is there too.
Nice surprise and definitely not bad 10 days before its BB date. I think I can finish the second sachet within those 10 days. And… outer wrapping? Definitely an addition to my collection, as we don’t have Dunkin’s here :)
We are trying to swear off donuts, but there is a Dunkin’ within pretty easy driving distance. I’ll have to see if they offer tea at ours.
..and if a donut happened to fall into my hand as I walked out, there would be nothing I could do about it…
