2076 tasting notes

Okay, I have been pretty much sure that I wrote about this one here at least once. But I had to add this tea to the database? So… I guess I always wanted to, but never did? Either that or Steepster ate my reviews along with tea.

I had it yesterday afternoon, when heading to my friends; to celebrate my success. They live in Moravia (other part of my country), and Moravia means… alcohol. So, when I have arrived, I received a shot of homemade apricot spirit; then I got some beers, and when I have been leaving, another shot to go. Well, today morning was, quite hard one, especially when heading to work after week and half.
As of tea yesterday — I bought a new thermomug; stainless steel, compact, 350 ml volume, no handle, so I can put it into pocket easily. However, stainless steel is easy to clean up, but affects the tea more than I have actually thought. It was quite plain, but metallic yesterday.

With that in mind, I decided to give it another chance today, in my classic vessel — glass mug, volume 300 ml. Well, that was a very different story. It was quite robust and strong tea. They claim they use first flush tea, from renowed Lingia Estate (never heard about it before), but the flavour profile does not agree with first flush teas. It was just too dark, with hints of malt and dark honey. Actually it was quite lovely considering sachet tea.

Flavors: Honey, Malt

Preparation
205 °F / 96 °C 2 min, 30 sec 10 OZ / 300 ML

Hopefully the metallic taste will leave your cup. I like that it fits in a pocket, and doesn’t leak?

Thank you beerandbeancurd :)
And Michelle, yes, it does not leak, of course. I hope as well that the metallic taste will disappear quickly.

Bio

I am drinking almost everything. Tea bag collector who moved to wonderful world of loose leaf.

Trying to rate differently tea bags and loose leaf as tea bags have usually worse quality.

Photographer now and then. Postcrossing and geocaching member. Very curious person. Logistics student (should finish in June 2021).

Buried in tea right now. Is in my cupboard (trying to be updated) which sparkled your interest? Write me, I would gladly share with you. But I don’t want anything in return now :)
