On tea wrapper design, there is a cantaloupe melon and ginger. Nothing telling Apricot to me, but the text. Seeing only again flavours in and not actual things in makes me again very sad. Steeps rapidly.
I did only 3 minutes steep (there is suggested 3-5 minutes), but after 3 minutes I received a mug of very dark opaque oily liquor. It isn’t inviting to drink at all and honestly, it doesn’t taste good either. It stains my mug a lot as well.
It’s flat black tea, a lot of tannins in, and flavouring? Nope. Very, very weakly ginger. Apricot? Some fruitiness is there, but not sure if it is that apricot or cantaloupe. Not a similar flavour, but because of that tannic base I could not decide what I am actually tasting!
Not worth trying again/ordering. Just a weird cup.
I wonder, if you are even interested in notes of those small (probably) brands that you probably never try, because they aren’t distributed world-wide and sometimes it is very limited offer?

Sometimes a tasting note is to signal what not to drink again. I like reading about different or even similar tea from other countries.
It’s fun reading your tasting notes even if I’ll never get to try the tea.

Thank you for your point of view Leafhopper and Michelle. I will keep posting them now and then.
I definitely like to read about the unknown brands!
Great tea-sipper. I wonder if you check them out somehow or not… but I like your curiosity. Being a curious person myself…
