This smells so freakin good dry!!!!

First time trying it, had it straight with no sweetener/milk. The aroma was a not as fragrant as when it was dry. The flavour is quite nice, gets a little astringent towards the end which I suspect is from the oolong maybe, but still quite a nice pineapple taste. I’ll try it again later with a bit of sweetener or iced as I think this could be very nice that way.

I love pear , so I was hoping this would be a keeper because I also love white tea. Seemed like a good pairing as they’re both quite delicate flavours.
Maybe it’s just because I’m getting over a cold and coughing seems to still come naturally, the ginger or…more so the cinnamon, seems to make my throat itch to cough.
I’m not the hugest fan of ginger, but thought it would be a nice bite with this. But I don’t really understand the point of the cinnamon.

All around, it has a nice flavour, slight bite at the end, but just isn’t the pear tea I was hoping for. The search continues!

Got this at the Toronto Tea Festival. The Riston rep made it very clear that this tea was a best seller. They didn’t have it as a sample, so I bought it purely on the reputation he said this tea had. When I got home and logged it in my Steepster ‘cupboard’ I was very disheartened to see that the reviews were all negative, so it makes me wonder what the reputation was based on!
He did suggest I have the tea with milk and sugar. So based on the reviews stating it had a bitter taste, I brewed it very quickly so as to avoid that and added milk and sugar. It turned out quite nice actually! Like a lightly brewed English breakfast with a hint of strawberry. The strawberry does taste a bit like strawberry flavouring, but it’s not horrible.

One of my FAVOURITE teas, especially as a latte. Peachy without being bitter or astringent. Lovely peach flavour and scent.

I prefer this to Earl Grey sometimes because the taste is more delicate and citrusy.

Very delicate hint of cherry blossoms are a lovely addition to a nice green tea.

Ok, I’m on the 2nd steep for this one. A few more notes, it seems to have an oil slick that sits on top of the steeped tea. It’s also quite cloudy. The scent is pretty green. I guess if you have in mind that you should be smelling pineapple and walnut, you can will your mind to smell them. I don’t.
The taste is ok, like a nutty green tea. But it still isn’t my favourite as nut teas go.

My coworker gave me a sample of this one. It’s not as good as Forever Nutty. I was reading reviews on this one and someone mentioned it smelling more like almonds, I certainly wouldn’t say that. But at the same time I don’t think it smells or tastes like toasted walnuts either. I could really go either way on this one. The smell is a tad bit stronger than the flavour which I found to be weak.

This one tastes very similar to the New English Tea Company version of English Breakfast. I always drink it with milk and sugar. To be honest, I can’t really tell a difference in flavour much. It might taste a bit fresher? Bolder?
All I know is, the tea leaf pieces are bigger and more recognizable as tea leaves than the New English Tea Co. which are little brown bits by the look of it. So I like that.

I find pit fruit flavours go well with white teas. Some find they either love it or hate it, my palate LOVES it. Peaches n Cream by Sloane is another good one, but it’s harder to find I think because it’s an Indigo/Chapters exclusive.
This one is a bit more floral than the Sloane one and you can’t over steep it or it gets bitter, so keep an eye on it when brewing!! ;)
