Sipdown! (54 | 328)
I’ve been curious about these (semi-new) Bonne Maman herbal tisanes, so I was excited to find this one at my local World Market!
It’s good, but a couple of things keep it from being great for me. One, the elderflower tends to overpower the other flavors. I would like to taste more of the apple and less of the elderflower. The second issue is the stevia. It’s actually quite restrained, which I appreciate. But this blend in general is fairly light, and there’s not a lot in the sachets, but if I try to use more to make it stronger, the stevia becomes too much for me.
Obviously it’s still drinkable, and I enjoyed sipping through the box of sachets. But I probably wouldn’t repurchase it if I saw it again.
Flavors: Apple, Cinnamon, Effervescent, Elderflower, Floral, Smooth, Stevia, Sweet

(…and it dawns on me that I probably make that comment any time somebody mentions WM. I am turning into any number of my elderly relatives who tell the same story over and over and over…)
Ha I went into a World Market the other day looking for tea and came out with $75 of hot sauce and vegan candy. It’s a dangerous place! Now I want to hit the one on the other side of town…
Glad to know they have stevia. I wasn’t planning to try them but might have broken. Now I won’t.
I think this might be the only one that does, since it’s supposed to be “sweet”.
Ohhhhh, to be near a World Market! (Then again, it may be a blessing that we’re not…)

I often walk in planning to just look and leave with limited edition flavors of Bonne Maman and tea. I scored Whittard’s English Rose at Christmas year before last. And candy bars….and shortbread…
