Assam Mangalam Second Flush Tea is one of Assam’s finest, with a warm, delicate flavour, perfect for a gentle wake me up in the morning.
Assam tea is grown in north-east India, a land of high rainfall, endowed with lush greenery, and the largest cohesive tea growing area in the world. This second flush Assam comes from the highly regarded Mangalam tea garden, and typically it is picked later on in the season when the leaves are at their best. The large leaves of the tea make it quite a delicate Assam that is particularly sought-after.
Assam’s full-bodied, malty flavour makes it perfect for drinking in the morning and is a great tea to enjoy over breakfast.
