From The TeaCupany

We take the flavors from the southern peaches and combine them with white tea and nectarines to create this amazing tea. You start off with the juicy sweet taste of the fruit, continue through the delicate white tea taste, and end with a little bit of tartness to provide a full workout for your taste buds. Great on its own or blended with other teas this mix is amazing any time of the day.

Best if steeped at 180 ° for 2-5 minutes.

Ingredients: White tea with pieces of apricots and marigold flowers, lightly infused with natural peach flavors.

The dry tea is what appears to be a dark shou mei, with pieces of apricot and marigold petals scattered throughout the tea.the scent is pretty lovely like a soft peach mousse as the dry tea has a hint of cream scent to it.

After 2.5min the tea is a pale amber tinted gold. The shou mei. and the marigold are present in the scent and the taste adding herbal and mineral and citric notes to the peach flavouring. The peach is sweet and tastes like a cross between Tim Horton’s peach drink and warm peaches and cream. The flavouring is pleasant but subtle. The tea is silky and creamy on the tongue. It re-steeps pretty well, with the peach actually intensifying a little.

A pleasant introduction to a new company. Thanks Dexter3657!

For our class assignment, I decided to go to a little tea shop near Little Five Points, called “Dr. Bombay’s” which had a large selection of teas to try from. I decided to go for the peach white tea since it the most opposite of the Pu’er I was thinking to use for my tea ceremony. The whole experience was really lovely, as we had it with a full high tea. My cup was dainty and white, with little flowers painted all over. The interior of the shop had a vintage, eclectic feeling which complemented the tea. The flavor of the tea was nice, but a little subtle on the peach. It had very little aftertaste, but a nice and refreshing base. The subtle color and flavor paired well with the ginger socnes I was served.

Nice white base, subtle peach flavor. There isn’t anything offensive here, just a nice light peach white tea. The peach is not chemical or candy – it’s really pretty good. I just wish there was more peach flavor. This is pretty mild.
I always have peach tisane in my house – so I just added a little of that to this and it made a great hot tea. Cold steeped this doesn’t really taste like much – it too could use a little boost in the peach department.
