This black tea is reminiscent of that all time Aussie chocolate bar favourite – the Cherry Ripe. You can drink this tea with or without milk and even a touch of white sugar helps to bring out those much loved flavours. Ingredients: Black tea, strawberry leaves, cranberries, chocolate drops, coconut and natural flavouring.

This is an interesting tea, though the difference today is pretty huge from the first time i had it. I like it, but it wouldn’t be a repurchase, which makes me a little happy since getting this from Australia would be a pain in the ass :) Thanks so much for the share though alice as it’s been an enjoyable cup :)
This was just ok for me. It was cherry ish, but not much chocolate or coconut. If you are going to put extra stuff in a tea then commit to it and let me taste it. This seemed like they couldn’t commit, didn’t quite know what they wanted it to be, so they just tossed a bunch of stuff in and hoped for the best. I of course added more cherry (this is why I can’t live without cherry tisane in my house), but I could have added chocolate chips and turned this into a chocolate tea.

I have yet to find a cherry tea that is true to flavour and that I really like…too bad cause I adore dark chocolate and cherries, mmmmmm! Maybe I should ask Stacy about that..
I think it depends on what you like. I’m not a hibiscus hater, so I’m ok with some hibiscus to add some tart to cherry teas. I really like Pondi Cherri from New Mexico Tea Co. I add it to everything. Cheap Chinese green tea – add some cherry – both hot or cold. Chocolate tea – add some cherry. LOL it solves a lot of “not for me” problems in my world.
Actually, I do like sakura green teas, just forgot about those, they are usually true to flavour. But I’d love to find a dark chocolate cherry tea that is not overly sweet (I hate everything too sweet). I don’t mind hibiscus in small doses, the problem is that most of the time, it overwhelms everything else!
I really like your idea of making your own blends, I tend to forget about that, yet I’m a «think outside the box» type of person, thanks for reminding me :-)
:)) I think it’s my tea I can do what I like. Chocolate, coconut, spices, or other teas are quite often tossed into my infuser.

The cherry aspect of the “cherry ripe” (from the cranberries I suppose) is lacking, you could get away with calling this one “bounty bar” as it is mostly coconut and chocolate. That is fine with me but I can see it would disappoint some.
This is a tea to snuggle up with at night. With or without milk.

And while I’m not a fan of the chocolate bar, I loved the sound of the flavours and notes in this tea. Firstly, smell this tea before you drink it. It has the most wonderful scent. Some comments on the company’s website are reading like it smells much better than it tastes, but I can’t say I agree.
I could taste the coconut, with undertones of chocolate and the sharpness of the cranberry. The overall colour was a lovely apricot/gold and the flavours were all well-balanced and none overpowered the other. If I had one criticism it would be that it was easy to tell it was a flavoured black tea, but considering that was what I ordered it’s hardly a critique.
I like this tea. Coconut is one of my favourite flavours to have in a black tea so I’ll keep it in mind when ordering or purchasing again.
