From Tealish

Rainbows are one of nature’s most beautiful sights. When you see one you just want to drink it in! Well, we’ve done our best to make that happen with this colourful, fruity rooibos blend of raspberries, papayas, pomegranates, pineapples, strawberries, rosebuds and flower blossoms. Delish!

Deeeelish!! the fruit notes bring that natural sweet tone and hides most of the earthy rooibos that sometimes can be too much for me. The rose… well, that just makes it lovely. I love rose in my tea… *sighs…
Thank you so much to Tealish for the free sample!!!

Scott B

This sounds like a good candidate to be a Rooibus that I would enjoy. Sounds good for summer, too.

Indigobloom

I recommend it! esp if you enjoy fruity tea, it’s more present than the floral note which just adds a nice background note

TheTeaFairy

You make this one sound sooo irresistible! I know you seem to enjoy this one better, but do you find it resembles DT Jelly Beans or Swampwater? I’m thinking of ordering it but want some comparison first, trying to avoid more of the same!

Indigobloom

Hmm I’ve never tried Swampwater. This is more flavourful than the Jelly Bean tea, and floral to. Somehow, it just seems to go deeper, ya know what I mean?

TheTeaFairy

thanks! and yep, know what you mean, I was so ready to dive in Jelly Bean… I do like it but it does lack in the debth departement… now I have to get me some Rainbow!

Bonnie

Is it me or does it seem that DT does Fall and Winter better than Spring and Summer tea?

TheTeaFairy

Bonnie, I agree!… mind you, DT was founded here in Montreal where summer and spring last as long as a blink! So if I have to choose, I go with good fall and winter creations!

Bonnie

I do want to come to visit Montreal, cheaper than going to Europe too! I loved Vancouver and Victoria last Sept. but I was with 2 teenagers and didn’t get to drink tea. Went into a teaopia though. Bought MAPLE TEA, such a tourist!

Indigobloom

TeaFairy: I can’t wait to see what you think! I’m thinking about getting more myself, when I’m done my other rooibos’. and I <3 Montreal! well, I know I will when I visit anyhow!
Bonnie: I so agree, they really drop the ball in summer/spring.

Daisy Chubb

We stopped in Montreal during our drive! It was gorrrgeous, even when the sky was grey and the trees were all dead from Winter! I would love to go back in the summer/fall :)

TheTeaFairy

All 3 of you Gals are welcomed to visit anytime! Montreal is indeed a great city, but Bonnie, if you’re looking for a real Europe substitute, Quebec city is also fabulous, with its Château Frontenac and Plaines d’Abraham! p.s. one sure thing in this world: maple syrup is NOT overated, so nothing tourist about that!
DaisyChubb, glad you enjoyed your short visit in the winter, Mtl really comes to life in the summer, hope you can make it someday:)
Enough said! MTL tourist industry is about to give me a job!!
IndigoB: I haven’t been thrilled in the past with Tealish, but based on this review, I will make a new attempt and try more of their teas, maybe I’ll be lucky this time around!

Um YUM! holy smokes! Thanks aisling of tea for this one, I looove it! Gosh Tealish I have such a tea crush on you.

At first I confused this with the rooibos I already have, Fairy Dust, but after smelling it and brewing a pot – it is far superior. One of the tastiest, fruitiest, sweetest rooibos’ I have ever had. I am definitely making another online order from Tealish around Christmas time like last year – they have such unique blends and I will need more of this one.

SO GOOD!

Nik

Rooibos is my favourite “tea” and I must try this. Thank you!

Daisy Chubb

Oh DO Nik! They did an awesome holiday sale last year – I got over 12 50g teas for 30 bucks

Nik

Sending out résumés…The sooner someone bites, the sooner I can buy more tea. :D

Daisy Chubb

Amen to that! Good luck with the job hunt my friend!

Nik

Thank you!

I went on a mini-spree at Tealish with their 25% off code plus a gift certificate I had from months ago. I am loving how much tea I got for what ended up costing me $25!

I have decided: I really like Tealish. They’ve been appealing to me more and more than DT lately because the tea seems to be higher quality and it’s nice supporting a local business. I guess DT is a local business, but they are rather different at this point.

Anyway, this rooibos. I almost bought MORE Fairy Dust but I have a good 50 g left so I thought I would try the other new green rooibos blend they released. I’m glad I did! It’s chock full of various fruit chunks and flower blossoms. When I opened the bag it smelled overwhelmingly of raspberries. Fresh, juicy raspberries. This continued as it steeped. And the taste follows suit. This is the most legit raspberry I’ve tasted in a tea. I actually think I avoided this one at first because I haven’t enjoyed any of the other raspberry-flavoured blends I’ve tried before. This tastes like raspberries, not just raspberry flavour. There’s a nice background hint of tropical papaya, too. Again, this one delivers exactly what it promise. It’s a great fruity green rooibos.

Daddyselephant

I love these two so, so much! I’ve had my issues with Tealish, but some of their new teas have really turned that around for me. My brother is a huge fan of Green and Fruity, so I’ll have to have him try some of this before we head downtown when he comes up from the States this coming weekend.

But Fairy Dust is love. Looooove. I have something akin to 150 g at the moment.

nomadinjeopardy

I used to love Green and Fruity but find it mostly just alright these days. They’re definitely similar, so hopefully he’ll love it too! Their new teas are definitely delivering.

It’s so hard not to accumulate a kilo of Fairy Dust! I want to drink it every night so every time I’m near Tealish I feel like I should buy more. So good. They named it so perfectly.

Derp! As long as I’ve been drinking tea, I’ve taken it with sugar. All tea, no exceptions. That’s just how I do it. However last night, while I was making tea for myself, my wife, and loading the dishwasher, I somehow managed to forget the sugar. I’m almost to 700 tea reviews on this site and I’ve never forgotten. Derp.

That being said, it wasn’t bad! I did take a sip and wonder where the flavor had gone, and I can totally see now how people who are used to sugary drinks and taste unsweetened tea and think it tastes like lightly flavored water. I’m sure if you’re used to unsweetened tea, it’s amazing. I just needed a touch of sugar in this to be happy. But it was very good, and even though I messed it up, I enjoyed it. I will rate it next time I make it my usual way XD

This is lovely. The rooibos is not overpowering and there’s a lovey fruity taste that combines raspberry, citrus and a bunch of other stuff which I can’t quite identify.

Definitely glad I picked this one up. Thanks for the recommendation, aisling of tea!
