From Tealish

Drink this tea and you’ll feel like you’ve just been sprinkled with fairy dust, it’s so good. With notes of strawberry and kiwi, this blend of green rooibos, apple, strawberry, kiwi, orange blossoms, elderflower, and mistletoe, is our favourite way to escape to never never land once (or twice) a day.

Sipdown…sorta

Well I got in an accident at 8:40 then continued to deal with that until finally getting home at 5 only to be told to walk back out the door to do groceries and so I decided I deserved a treat…the last tsp of this tea. I boiled the kettle and steeped the tea then disposed of the leaf when I finished only to take a sip of the ice cold, colored but unflavored water. So that was a waste. Just the perfect end to a fucking terrible day.

Yikes, sounds like you could do with a big hug. Sending one pronto. Be very kind to yourself.

Super Starling!

@Evol: I first read your comment as “sending one potato.” I was like “YOU NEED LESSONS ON COMFORTING PEOPLE. ONE SENDS A CANDY BAR.”
@VariaTEA: I adore you. Sending you a virtual candy bar.

Autistic Goblin

That’s awful! I’ll send you hugs and warm fuzzies to comfort you.

Best. Rooibis. Ever. Most rooibis teas tend to taste pretty much just like rooibis, no matter how you try to dress it up. “It tastes like caramal!” No, tastes like rooibis. “It tastes like frosting!” Nope. Still rooibis. But guess what? This one tastes like strawberries, and melon. (Someone else mentioned it tasted like melon, and I think that planted the idea in my head and I tasted it at first sip) Not rooibis.

Tealish! You win again!

Okay, I’m trying to get into rooibos a bit more for evenings and late afternoons, when I’m finished with caffeine for the day. And this tea helped quite a bit.

Fairy Dust Rooibos is perfect for a summer iced tea! I cold steep it and it tastes like summer fruit. The flavours are definitely fairy (faerie) worthy. So, I used two tsp of tea in the travel mug I use for cold steeping and filled it about 2/3 full with water. And then I let it sit in the fridge for a couple nights.

I’m contemplating trying it with vodka, but it’s so delicious I’m afraid of ruining it. lol

I love this tea. A lot of times when you get teas that contain kiwi (ie; kiwi’s big adventure, from davids), it kind of tastes artificial. This one tastes really natural … the ingridients all work really well together. The rooibos is nice and light as well, and doesn’t have this weird distinctive taste that I am very picky about with my rooibos teas!. fantastic blend!
