From Tazo Tea

Tazo® Earl Grey includes some of the world’s most sought-after teas, grown in the high-elevation gardens of Sri Lanka and northeast India. Following the original recipe, Tazo adds the essence of bergamot, a citrus fruit with subtle lemon and spicy lavender notes. We think the aromatic result would have curled the Earl’s stiff upper lip into a smile.

Sometimes I can tolerate earl greys – depends on the bergamot. But the lavender in this is like getting punched in the face with a flower. Ick.

One of the best “fast food” earl grays I’ve ever had (fast food as in bag tea instead of loose).

The bag may be biodegradable but don’t put it in your compost because it doesn’t degrade in time to for that. Maybe if you were to collect them and for a while and then boil them without any tea leaves for long enough they would start to biodegrade but I only saw that once for a biodegradable plastic bag on youtube.

This isn’t the best Earl Grey I’ve had, but it’s still comforting to drink, especially when there aren’t any other options, and my brother recently brought me two tins of it so….

I love this tea so much I consider it a treat every time I steep a bag from it even though earl grey in general is a standard morning tea.
The taste is SO FLAVOURFUL. I pour enough hot water to fill my teapot, which makes enough for two mugfuls, add some milk, add some condensed milk or brown sugar, maybe add a drop of vanilla extract and voila: a beautiful way to start the morning and wake me up a little bit.
