Thaank you ifjuly for sending me a sample of this one.
This is nutty, caramel, sweet dessert rooibos.
It’s fine, it’s nice and flavorful. This is very rooibos, with nice, fun additives. I think it’s good, but it’s very similar to several others in this style that I’ve had before.

This one’s adorable; if you like this kind of thing it’s very cute—little snowflake candies, silver balls, sliced nuts, fruit cubes (looks kind of like apricot to me, reminds me of my favorite cookie recipe ever which includes dried apricots reconstituted in warm brandy then chopped up and added to the batter with pistachios and oatmeal), and what looks like (but isn’t) little square caramels (maybe marzipan?). It has the same strong almond extract/marzipan scent as other Georgia Tea samples I’ve tried have had. It grew on me the more I drank it (made a 3 cup pot)—at first the almond aroma is pretty overwhelming, but as that recedes (or maybe my nose gets used to it) the flavor comes out and it does a good job for a rooibos-based blend at having just enough rooibos flavor to mesh well with the other notes. It’s just a gentle-bodied, warm, sweet, nutty, comforting cup.

Thanks so much Momo for that sale you had! I was able to buy a few teas I wanted to try and a few I already knew were favorites that I was running out of. This one sounded nice! I like the sprinkles. I wonder if one day I’ll just be drinking no-frills teas but these are just too fun anyway. I love the idea that there is “fruit” in here but they don’t say what kind. I see orange cubes. A taste test after infused makes me think it’s apricot unless there is more than one type of fruit here. I love the marzipan flavor and the real almonds here. The rooibos is nice too. This might be my favorite from Georgia. Yeah, it’s not winter but I’m loving this tea anyway.

Thanks to Dexter3657 for this sample!

I’ve been on a new medication that makes me nauseated so I’ve been really boring in my tea drinking, but since this is a rooibos, I thought I’d try it out. All the extra bits in it make it really pretty to look at and it reminds me of Davidstea Alpine Punch. There’s a lot of almond flavor and a nice creamy taste at the end of the sip. I added a bit of sweetener to mine even with the sprinkles.

If I decide to make an order from Georgia Tea Company when this tea is available, I’d likely add it to my cart.

Roobios is hit or miss for me. Some days I love the stuff and others I can’t get past the ‘mulchy’ flavor and scent. Luckily tonight is a night where I can enjoy it. I was looking forward to a nice calming cup since I had a rather eventful night (mostly positive, minus that kind policeman who pulled us over in a speed trap.). This tea really hit the spot. The almond smell is definitly there, and I absolutely adore the addition of the sprinkles. I think things like this bring out the kid in me, in a really awesome way. The taste is all roobios, with a dash of almond on the back of my tongue. I love almond/amaretto flavors a lot, so this makes me happy.

Between my husband and I, we got 3 tickets in the past few weeks. Ugh.

Whats funny is that my husband perpetually drives like he’s running from the mob. And the one time he legit just didn’t notice the speed limit had changed on the freeway (it was around 2am on the way home on a friday night, he’s not trying to get breath tested even if he hasn’t had anything boozy since 10) he got pulled over. The cop we had was actually really cool about it, and only wrote for 5 over when my husband was doing more like 20 over. But damn what kind of luck lol.

Look how cute this tea is. Not only does it have snowflake sprinkles it has dragées! So pretty.

Additionally it has chunks of marzipan and slivers of almond. The liquor smells just like marzipan, I can even smell the sweetness.

It even really tastes like marzipan, but as a bonus it isn’t as sweet as it smells. It’s just slightly got a medicinal taste, put I imagine if I steeped it a bit shorter that would be gone. Doesn’t bother me since I love rooibos, but the sweet almond flavor kind of brings it out a bit more.

What a fun tea. I always enjoy teas that are visually interesting, as well , as interesting tasting. Cute little snowflakes, pieces of fruit and a rooibos base. Very tasty brew. Not as much as a nut flavor as I thought there would be from the name, Nutcracker. But I really enjoyed it and it is beginning to make me feel like fall/winter is coming even though it’s not apparent yet. It’s just the beginning of October but I enjoy fall so I’m happy.
