I’m glad I got a chance to try this tea out! Not quite the carrot cake taste I was looking for, I guess because I like the icing more than I like the cake. But it did have the spicyness to it that a carrot cake should have. I enjoyed it.
However it’s not my favourite, and I’m not sure if it’s something I’d drink much of.
It really didn’t live up to my “desert in tea form” expectations.

Not bad, but not so good too. I think i don’t like cake tasting tea (makes me feel like i’m eating liquid cake). Carrot cake’s fan should try it although! I tasted it at a DAVIDsTEA store!

This tasted a lot like one of my favorites… “forever nuts” with a strange, yet good taste. I will try this as a latte next!

Tried this for the first time last weekend at the David’s Tea store. Soooo gooood. It’s good both hot and iced. Picked up 4oz. It’s got that perfect balance of spice and flavor.

I normally really enjoy this blend of spices, however I found this blend didn’t taste at all like carrot cake. There were some spices, but nothing remarkable. I don’t taste carrot or baked goods, nor do I taste nuts or raisins. It also has a weird after taste.

Whoever rated this high is not allowed to swap with me.
Does that tell you enough about this tea?

I LIKE THIS TEA. Not quite like a slice of carrot cake but not bad either way. Not going to lie – some of the reviews scared me but I have to say either some are a little dramatic or there must be a bad batch of this going around because I did not get a paint thinner scent or flavor at all.

What a thought provoking review, I’m sure you convinced a lot of fellow steepsters to give this tea another chance!

meganxpink was nice enough to share this tea with me. I liked the subtle tastes of carrot cake, I preferred the taste after the tea had some time to cool.

A sample from KittyLovesTea. Like many others on here, I’m not quite sure what to make of this one. I read through a couple of notes after drinking my first cup, because I was certain there must have been some mistake. Either that, or my sample must be ages old/contaminated, which I don’t expect is the case. I say all this because this one smells of paint thinner. Brewing it was actually rather off putting, and I did wonder whether it was something I should be taking a sip of. I did anyway, and it actually doesn’t taste too bad. It’s a little chemically and oddly dank tasting, but there’s a tiny hint of something vaguely resembling carrot cake in there. I think it might be the spicing that’s giving me the right sort of impression, but there’s no cake or frosting to be found. I got about half way through my cup before I dumped it. I’m not sure what’s wrong with this one, but it’s not very pleasant to drink. Life’s too short for bad tea.

Oh wow, it’s been so long that I don’t even recall this one (though I know I’ve had it). This blend is very old though, but I also think it was one where people felt like something was wrong with it… paint thinner is coming to mind (not actually looking at the notes)

Tried this out tonight, interesting flavored oolong. Fruity tones, without any citrus. Very mellow, tastes good straight, and good with agave. Good cold too!
