From DAVIDsTEA

It’ll work every time

Seriously, this might be the best way to stop a bear in its tracks. They love berries, and this tea is full of them. The aroma of black currants, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries is totally irresistible. Plus it’s calming, which is important when taming wild animals. Just don’t try to take it away from them.

Ingredients: Elderberries, apples, rosehips, blackcurrant, raisins, strawberry leaves, lemon verbena, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, cherries, blueberries, papaya (papaya, sugar), natural and artificial flavouring.*

Studying is not all that bad because it gives me an excuse to brew as many cups of tea as I like. The number is unashamedly high.
I’ve had this blend a number of times and I love it! I’m a sucker for herbal teas and particularly ones that are fruity. I loved it so much that I’m down to the very last scoops of my 50g bag already.
That being said, if you plan on buying this tea, be sure to mix up the dry leaves and berries up before scooping it to brew. I guess the tiny black currants settled down to the bottom of the bag and the bigger pieces tend to stay on the very top. This last batch I made is considerably more sour and not as tasty as when more of the sweeter fruit pieces and strawberry leaves were in the mix. It won’t deter me from buying more though, I will have this knowledge for the next time!

Oh my goodness I could not find a way to enjoy this for myself without adding buckets of sugar to it. Did not enjoy. I’m sorry, Bear Trap, I tried to love you.

Cormorants

I tried this one as a sample with Marco; he liked it, I did not. Too manly maybe?! XD

I looooOOOOooooove Bear Trap.
Firstly, due to the cute bear on David’s Tea Website. Won’t lie, that was part of my reason for purchasing.
Secondly, it is so refreshing and crisp. I steep it for ages (or what feels like ages) and add a tiny drop of honey. And I haven’t even tried it iced. Yum. Perfect bedtime tea. I imagine a bear would love this tea as much as I do.

Yum yum yum!! I’ve been drinking WAY too much of this lately. Its so flavourful, and I can actually bear (hehe) the tartness without any sugar. I’ve also been doubling up the tea because I like it strong.. about 6 tsps of tea per 10 oz or so, then I’ve been running it over ice. It’s maybe a little over the top. Nothing bad happens if you oversteep this one, too :-) which is a HUGE plus for me, as I tend to be incredibly careless with steep time.
All I can say is, it’s super satisfying after a long day, with a meal, by itself, or just when thirsty :-)
Just so much bear-y!
All that being said, I haven’t tried it hot. Oops.

This tea is fruity and delicious. I’m not a huge fan of fruit teas, but I’ll drink this again.

Got a sample of this tea when I went into the store the other day, and it didn’t blow me away. Seemed to be sour and bitter, perhaps it was oversteeped? Maybe I’ll get a cuppa one day to give it another try when I’m in more control over steep time.

To anybody wanting to try this tea. Make sure you DO NOT over-steep it. Although this tea is amazingly fruitful, if you give it too much time this becomes a sour juice.

Good thought however, this is great in the summer time if you give it 4 minutes in hot water and then throw in ice to cool it. Makes for great fruity chilled drink on a hot day.

Nice, but not my thing. Gave it to my dad, who loves herbals.

A tangy, tarte, yet fruity tea! Cannot be made into a latte. I actually prefer it hot, but it is great cold as well. I enjoy how it isn’t sickeningly sweet, however, wish there was more of an herbacious note.

Recently started a new job, so I haven’t had much time to try new teas. This looked like something nice to have with breakfast, so I made it the night before and put it in the fridge. The berry flavor here is pretty great. I use sugar, so it’s not too tart. It’s also a little more complex than your average berry tea. I liked it so much that I made another cup for the next morning. This is the berry tea that I wish Adagio berry teas could be.
