15 Tasting Notes
I have the loose leaf variety and prefer to do a quick brew with this tea. I believe by increasing the amount of tea and lowering the steep time that it decreases some of the bitterness and allows the floral flavors to peak through.
Flavors: Jasmine, Orchid
Preparation
It is a fruity tea that is slightly tart and with a subtle sweetness. It makes a wonderful iced tea and pairs well with honey instead of sugar but whatever you do, do not add milk or cream. I tried this once and my milk curdled from the acidness of the raspberries.
Flavors: Hibiscus, Raspberry, Sour, Sweat
Brewed Strong it has a very strong smokey flavor with a very bitter after taste. Brewed weaker its has more floral accents of orchid with a smokey wood flavor. It also has very little bitter after taste that fades quickly.
Flavors: Orchids, Smoke, Wood
