I wasn’t sure of buying it because it kinda smells like mouthwash, but I got it anyway because I was curious. The creme de menthe flavour is definitely there, and I think that in order to enjoy the tea you have to really like that flavour. But because it has that huge hit of caffeine and refreshing mint it is a really great morning tea.

There is nothing more amusing than pouring some tea leaves into your infuser to discover a chunk of pineapple the size of your thumb. Decently pleasing tea, not one I’d buy again though. It was my first time having kombucha though, so maybe it was just the kombucha not going over well.

I actually bought this tea on a whim for a Jessie. She let me try some and I had to go buy a tin. So. Good. A fantastic evening tea because the lavender is so relaxing. And the coconut is a perfect combination. I’d never think to combine coconut and lavender, because they seem like such different flavours but it works so well and produces a unexpected subtle but sweet flavour.

Not only does it taste delicious, but it smells amazing too. I tried to eat the maple leaves after I steeped the tea…not so much. However, if you eat them before you steep it, they’re just like candy :D

I almost wish my friend hadn’t introduced me to this tea because:

a) I’m addicted
b) IT’S ONLY A CHRISTMAS TEA!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally drank my 50g bag of it in a week (or maybe less, I can’t remember…) and when I went back to the store to buy a tin to stock up for the year they were all sold out, with no chance of new stock coming in because the tea was THAT good that all the stores had high demand. I emailed customer service, tweeted them, called the stores, etc, nothing. Believe me this Christmas I may or may not be the person rumours will be going around about that I bought the entire container from the store….!

Davids needs to find out how to rebrand this as a year-round tea. I neeeeeeeed more!

Oh Happy Day!!! DAVIDsTEA listens when you cry! They have rebranded it as a not-just-for-Christmas tea so now I can have my fix every day. Hooray for no more painful withdrawals and bipolarness because my cravings were left to their own devices until next Christmas. Just kidding. I picked up a fresh tin of it yesterday. Ohh, the chocolate shavings are huge. The smell is intoxicating. I think I’m gonna go make a latte…

…then again I’m not a caramel person.

When I drink this tea I feel like I’m eating chocolate raspberry cake. ’nough said.

Oh, and, don’t drink this tea at night. I was riding chocolate rockets around way laaaaate into the night, could not sleep! Great morning tea though.

I was wondering why my stash was tasting a little lacklustre and then I discovered that I had run out of the little candycanes. When I replenished my supply I remembered why I love this tea. It’s so refreshing and delicious, with the perfect amount of sweetness.

I was a bit disappointed by this tea. I got it because it smelled so yummy and also because I didn’t want to feel left out of the goji berry fad. I’ll give it another try sometime, maybe I’ll change my mind.
