132 Tasting Notes
another tea run! picked up 12 new ones, so after a marathon steeping i’ve got six of the lower caffeine teas ready to go, so i’ll be keeping them short and sweet. GET SET…!
mmm, bambooo
this one is definitely fruity. very sweet also. the pineapple is prominent with a peachy undertone to balance it out. will have to try it iced!
it’s good but i don’t love it.
Preparation
mmm they could have called this one ‘caramel apple’, because that’s what it tastes like!
i brought it to work, so it had cooled down quite a bit, not hot, and not iced. just nice and warm and it was sooo delicious. not cinnamon-y at all (i thought it would be a Mom’s Apple Pie repeat), just sweet apple, white tea, and caramel flavour. will definitely stock up on this one!
Preparation
this one is meh. i’m not a fan of rooibos so i probably shouldn’t have bothered, but the ‘creamsicle’ whisperings got me interested.
just mostly a strong rooibos flavour with a hint of vanilla and orange in the background. but that’s about it. too bad. :(
Preparation
tastes MUCH better than it smells when dry.
really minty with a touch of light seaweed behind it.
i prefer Seamist from Silk Road as far as a mint/seaweed tea goes though, so i wont be getting any more of this unfortunately!
Preparation
an okay tea. i have chocolate rocket that i like better as a mate, and many citrusy teas, so i won’t be buying any more of this.
it tastes very green, quite strong. the lemongrass dominates, and i think that’s where that green, grassy taste comes from.
my mom really enjoyed this one though! so at least it wasn’t all for nothing!
