Excellent Dessert Tea; smells like hot cocoa with a swirl of banana creme.

I believe this is a limited edition tea so if you can find it, definitely give it a try.

It is balanced very well and is great after a meal, by itself or with dessert.

This tastes similar to Ronnefeldt’s Cream Orange without the cream. It has a more citrus; excellently blended and full of flavor

Orange with slight caramel flavor – the cloves are a bit heavy but overall an okay tea.

I was expecting a strongly flavored tea, however this is not the case. I can not actually taste the cherry petals at all. I generally don’t drink Darjeeling because of its astringency, however I can tell this is a good Darjeeling tea. I would recommend this for Darjeeling drinkers. (My score reflects the fact that I don’t really like Darjeeling too much)

Strong coconut aroma; I was thinking of pina coladas, cool breeze on the beach at sunset, and coconut shrimp.

The packaging indicates a blend of 3 types of semi-fermented tea / fermented tea. The coconut and very light pineapple are the prominent flavors while the tea leaves take a backseat; it does taste like a greenish tea in the background though – will have to sample more. Overall a nice tea.

This tea is fragrant and soft; overall an good tea. It has a fruity tartness, with slight floral fragrance in the background. The sugar crystals lend a slight sweetness and mildness to the tea.

drank Emerald Earl Grey by Lupicia

Oddly enough this might be my favorite Earl Grey I’ve had.

The Oolong leaves have a lighter taste than the normal, black leaf Earl Grey. This has a bit more of a fruity tartness to it – an excellent tea for summer. Highly recommend.

Smooth, slightly malty, and light on the bergamot. This reminds me more of a light breakfast tea than an earl grey but it is a good tea. The tea leaves they use for this blend are excellent – very low harshness / bitterness. I tend to like flavored teas more, which is reflected in the score – this is probably one of the best plain-flavored teas I’ve tasted (even though this actually is a flavored tea)

I don’t have a sensitive palate but I do tend to shy away from harsh and bitter flavors. For instance, I can’t stand raw celery and olives – the smell/taste is way too intense. I find coffee to be too muddy/earthy, tea is light and crisp.

I find plain, black tea to be either too bitter or a bit too bland – unless I’m adding cream and sugar. I love flavored black teas; flavored rooibos is great as an evening drink; and light, grassy green teas are wonderful. Oolong and Pu-erh teas are good too but haven’t had as much exposure to them. White teas I’m still on the fence – one day I hope I’ll find one that I’ll like. I don’t like the spiced teas (e.g. chai)

My Grading Scale:
80-100 – Excellent Teas. These are the Teas I crave all the time, even when trying out new teas.

60-79 – Good Teas. I drink these occasionally.

50-59 – Passing Grade. These are worth a try again

Below 50 – Would not recommend, and probably will never try again
