I stayed up late last night working on a presentation for a big meeting with my boss and am trying to get up to work out every day (I’m on a 7 day streak so far!), so I had extreme need of some Killer’s Vanilla this morning. It was able to make me happy in the midst of all that and I am so not a morning person. It greets you with mint, says “hai girl hai” to your tastebuds with vanilla, and then hugs you with lavender. I love it. It was almost a sipdown for me, aside from the portion I’ve set aside for my swap with Virginia (so excited!). Based on other steepster-ites, I gather that I should be happy about a sipdown? I’m not. Good thing I ordered some more today :-)

Gurl, I am so pumped! Woot woot! I know I said I hate lavender but this one is very intriguing. Can’t wait to try it! I love sipdowns when I finish something I’m meh about because it means I can get something new to replace it without feeling guilty. And then there are sipdowns that feel like funerals, where I mourn my last bit of tea and debate wether I should get more of that or something new.
I wish I had all the cupboard space and shipping fee money in the woooooorrrrllldd.
I think you’ll like this despite the lavender. I can’t smell it in the brew and it’s more like you’re tasting mint+vanilla+lavender all together. It doesn’t taste like the chamomile lavender in that you can clearly taste the lavender. It just tastes awesome and then you have all this calm energy without any jitters or a pounding heart. I’m a fan, obviously :)
Lol, I too find sadness in lots of my sipdowns ;-)
