23 Tasting Notes
I have to admit, I’m not big on Tim Hortins Tea’s, I’m more into their coffee (which is highly addictive). That being said, I do enjoy this tea a great deal! It’s my go to tea for sickness, stress, and when I’m at my parents place (since there is no David’s Tea in that area)
I’m a big fan of Chai in general, I very much enjoy a good spicy hearty tea.
Personally, I find adding sugar or some honey makes it all the more lovely!
I’m glad I got a chance to try this tea out! Not quite the carrot cake taste I was looking for, I guess because I like the icing more than I like the cake. But it did have the spicyness to it that a carrot cake should have. I enjoyed it.
However it’s not my favourite, and I’m not sure if it’s something I’d drink much of.
It really didn’t live up to my “desert in tea form” expectations.
I wasn’t too impressed with this one. It wasn’t a dump out for me, but I don’t think I’d buy it again. I am a big walnut fan, however I grew up in an out port community, so fishing was big, and for some reason the scent of this tea reminds me of the smell of the air around that time, almost like fish. Does any body else get that scent as well, or am I just a nutter?
Just beautiful! Reminds me of summer with it’s fruit punchy taste and scent. Delicious and good for you? Can it be?
The after taste is quite different, its almost like there is something spicy underneath, I want to say cinnamon but I can’t quite put my finger on what it is.
This tea shall be added to my favourites.
Preparation
Had this tea on the way to orchestra today to kill my sweet craving! I did enjoy it, however it wasn’t what I expected. I expected more of a buttered rum toffee taste for some reason. So it wasn’t as sweet as I would have liked, even with the sweetener in it. But it did have a hint of the rum and butter taste that I was craving and did in fact take away my sweet craving. The smell however is amazing,
Preparation
This was the first chocolate based tea I’ve tried, and I fell in love with it.
It just reminds me of Christmas, spicy and sweet! More sweet than spicy however, the perfect blend. Very much a winter tea, but I believe I could drink it all year round!
All in All a great tea!
Preparation
Oh the warmth!
Such a great winter tea, really great for keeping warm for the winter months, I’d have to describe it as robust. Scent is warm and amazing.
Is also great on the second steep.
Preparation
I did enjoy this tea, however I found the flavour did not match the scent, that is until I added some splenda. I found that once I added some sweetness it started to taste exactly how I wanted it, sweet and Carmel like. Without the splenda it has more of the green tea taste.
