762 Tasting Notes
A nice tea, but not one I’ll re-stock. I don’t care for Bergamot, but the lemon and orange help balance that out for me. My brother gave me a box of this, and I’ve been trying to drink it down. There are so many other teas I enjoy more though, that this is not one I reach for.
As of right now, this is my very favorite tea. Even someone who can’t taste much can enjoy this tea. It’s smooth, with a hint of sweetness. About two years ago, when I first started drinking tea, this is one that I bought at Polo Park in Winnipeg. I went through the first 50 grams pretty quickly, and then had to order 100 grams more. I drink it frequently in the evening. It is my go-to tea.
One of the teas in my Advent Calendar. It’s been sooo nice to get to try so many different teas. Some I really enjoyed. Others, not so much. This one was a not so much. Such a lovely color in my cup! This tea, sadly, tasted quite sour to me. I finished the cup, and it did grow on me as I drank. However, I will not add it to my list of “Need To Order.”
This was part of my Tea Forte Advent Calendar. Whoever came up with that idea (an advent calendar of tea) is brilliant! I had wanted to get one from David’s, but they were sold out. I’ve never had tea from Tea Forte, but I love the little pyramids. It’s been a nice variety of teas so far. This one didn’t do it for me. With my limited sense of taste, it came over as acidic. Very likely someone else would enjoy the flavors that I couldn’t taste.
Due to repeated and lengthy sinus infections and nasal polyps, I can’t smell. Even when air does flow through my nose (a rare event worthy of note) I smell nothing. So imagine my delight when I inhaled the steam from this tea and could “feel” it. That alone would make me rate it highly. It also tastes okay. I am out of this one right now. Might ned to make an order soon. First need to drink down some of the test of my teas to make room.
This was part of an assortment gifted to me from friends. Not a bad tea. Not wonderful, like I think I need to go stock up on it. But if I was travelling and this was one of the selections at a hotel breakfast, I would have no trouble choosing it over some other breakfast teas.
