237 Tasting Notes
After the disappointment of La La Lemon I decided to try a tea that promised to be more lemony then lemons themselves. It certainly smells absurdly lemony and looks absurdly lemony which is basically a promise of perfection to me.
It’s a very pleasant tea but I prefer Midsummer’s Night Dream as a lemon tea. This is a truly strong tart and bitter lemony tea so it tastes like more of a wellness tea then a treat tea.I think this will be a staple wellness tea good for sore throats and cold cold days but is not a treat tea by any stretch.
God I love the smell of this tea buttery rich creamy but light.
I am a big fan of white teas with their light taste and having the highest level of antioxidants in tea.
This is such a unusual mix of ingredients in a caffeinated tea and yet it works beautifully.
it’s very nice and light but rich and creamy as well.
A very pleasant tea,no need to sweeten.Wonderful experience to have mid-day when you want something sweet but not too sweet.
Anyone who knows me knows I am a citrus taste addict.
Being raised in a European household we always had black tea with slices of lemon floating and squeezed into it.I even used lemon juice on black tea going as extreme with lemon as I can go in tea.
So I was definitely SUPER excited to try a black tea infused with extreme lemony taste and smell It smells amazing like perfectly lemonized black tea.
Well damnit Smelled amazing and full of promise but the tea was simply bitter with a tiny bite of lemon really not worth mentioning.
I think I perhaps steeped too long.I will try again and see if I can find the lemony black tea promised land in my cup.
I have a lot of hope.

I’m a big fan of wellness teas, but there aren’t many delightful tasting ones.
I was told at the store that it would not be good to drink this during the day because it would put me to sleep.Being a fan of and having used Valerian root in the past I was looking forward to a improved wellness tea with some drama that works.
Feeling tired but not tired enough I finally decided to try this, though I have many other sleepy time teas that work perfectly well in my cupboard..I just needed to know there was a tastier alternative.
I also do not care for peppermint teas so this was another taste test.
After having steeped it’s a gorgeous red color.
Oh my goodness what a revelation.I actually like the mint taste and the tea is delicately sweet with a really nice warming aftertaste and the lemon flavor is perfectly light and tart.Tastes like a light refreshing and relaxed fruit tea with a kick of mint and lemon.
I do not believe in wasting tea even the bagged kind so I will finish all my sleepy time stock or gift it and just get this from DAVIDsTEA from now on for those nights when I need a lot of help to get to sleep.
Preparation
I initially got this tea because it smelled exactly like 2 Lush products I love!
The smell is unbelievably yummy like drowning in a honey soaked cake paradise.
Such a rich and warming tea, don’t know about the promised jolt of energy but we shall see.
Also wish I tasted more of the lemon but then I expect insane lemon intensity and anything less seems non-existent to my taste-buds.
Feels like honey and tastes like honey unsweetened.
Quite a pleasant tea.
I love chai it’s my favorite type of tea and indulgence.
This tea turned out very bitter though I did not over steep it.
The bitterness completely overwhelmed the spice and smokiness I usually really enjoy.
I do not sweeten my chai tea unless I have a particularly strong sweet tooth. and this would need a full pound of sugar to alleviate it’s bitterness.
Such an incredible shame!
Being a huge movie night with popcorn fan I couldn’t wait to try this tea.It smells AMAZING.
I really wanted to like it it has all these great elements but the more I drank the less I wanted to drink it.
Tastes like it smells which should have made it ideal.
It had moments of sheer pleasure then moments of just exaggerated weirdness for me.
It was mostly pleasurable but I don’t think I would replenish my stock of this.
It was quite a dividing tea for me.Still not sure if I’ll give it another chance.
