Herbal Traveling Tea Box

I received the 2nd round of the Herbal Traveling tea box today which was a nice surprise as it’s been a long week!

Hmm, this is an odd one. I really didn’t taste pumpkin, though it was pleasant and creamy. I think this is my first try of an ESP Emporium tea and (at least) nothing is telling me to run far away from the company!

I intentionally overleafed and added sweetener and still no pumpkin to speak of.

Preparation
Boiling 8 min or more 2 tsp 12 OZ / 354 ML
gmathis

Hmmm…trying to decide if rooibos and pumpkin are similar enough in flavor that they just sort of overlap instead of standing out distinctly. On the other hand, it sounds like a logical combination.

I recently discovered loose leaf tea and am already addicted (much to my husband’s dismay)! I prefer fruity teas iced and savory teas hot. Looking forward to drinking and chatting.

Some likes/dislikes I’ve been noticing:

Likes:
Pineapple
Jasmine
Fruity White Teas
lighters Blacks
Most Oolongs (especially greener varieties)
dessert teas
tisanes iced that don’t require added sweetener

Dislikes:
Spicy flavors unless in chai
astringent black teas
heavy ginger teas
teas with licorice (as primary ingredients – somehow I like some where the licorice is in the back drop)
heavily oxidized oolongs

For my own reference, I’m only placing “full size” teas in my cupboard.
